what are dreams actually about?

ive been on this site for a while and have read many peoples dreams and the replies, i have also posted a few myself.

It has made me think why do we dream?

Are dreams trying to tell us something?

IS it our mind playing tricks on us or are they trying to help us?

What is our sub-consicous trying to tell us?

Can we be contacted by the "other realm" in our dreams?

I have had many dreams answered on here and the responces are great!, i can sometimes figure out what my dreams mean but sometimes i cant!.

Can our dreams be influenced by something we have seen or watched or experienced in that day?

And can the "other realm" influence our dreams?

What do you guys think? Could you answer my questions?

  what is your lungs for?
  what is your brain for?

With a sligt difference; we know what to listed organs for but science has not yoet understood that dreaming is a vital function to keep us alive!
Dreaming is our guardian angel while we sleep!
