I agree with Zuludawn & IrisRavenstar. I don't recall having ANY dreams in B/W (though it's possible that I just never noticed a lack of color), and if most people don't dream in color this is the first I'm hearing of it. I dream all the time, but like Ravenstar I usually only remember the last 1 or 2 dreams I had before waking, so for now I'm still on step 1.
Regarding "Indigo children" I just looked it up after reading Daciana's post, & it was indeed an interesting concept. The description fits me remarkably well, but without more thought and re-search I'm not inclined to think this is THE reason I've always been so different from the rest. I won't get further into it, cause that's not the topic we're on, but if you happen to look it up yourself, I advise you to consider both the supporters & the critics opinions, cause both seemed to make valid points while leaving gaping holes. |

I usually dream with backgrounds like the green in Matrix. Have you noted something similar?

Yes, each color has a definite meaning and we should pay attention and try to remember what we saw in the dream. I recently dreamed I was looking at my reflection in a mirror and my eyes were a striking Emerald Green color. I was so startled I remembered it when I woke up. Also, my face had lots of wrinkles. Don't know the meaning of wrinkles, except maybe a fear of old age. What do you think???
Anyway, I wrote a post on color in dreams (esp. Red) on my dream blog, here's the link......A Dreams-Teller Drop by if you have a moment.

I'm still trying to figure out why my eyes were emerald green in my recent dream. Also had lots of wrinkles, but my eyes glowed.
A Dreams-Teller Drop by and leave your comments, thanks.

Well I can only ever recall 2 occasions where I've dreamt in black and white, so I think this notion that people do not dream in colour is some hokey old wives tale.
Think about it though; dreams are based largely on waking experiences and that being the case, if you see in colour, why would you not also dream in colour? It's therefore never made any sense to me why anyone would think dreaming in colour is abnormal. Either way, it's all symbolic. The few b/w dreams I've had were that way for a reason. I've also had dreams with subdued colours or where only one colour is prominent (usually red), but again, that was a symbolic device of the dream itself. If anything, I'd say the mostly b/w dreamers are the abnormal ones!
