Demons are weak to those who are spiritually strong, and strong to those spiritually weak. The spirit becomes weak by being ignored, and succumbs to fear and doubt, and these things empower demons.
Now this is meant to help. I am not trying to convert people to my religion, because I feel, as do the rest of us, that it is of such value that most aren't worthy. But the knowledge I will share to those in need, because it seems this would be the first place people would come. I am a Sikh First, my background. I do a special type of Sikh Yoga. Through this, no demon comes near me, because they fear me. Forget humility, only the subtle ones manage to trick me, but in actual force of presence no demon can defeat me. I guarantee this. Of course, it is all God's doing, found through my Guru's teaching, which have allowed me to grow in power, for I was almost killed by one, which drove me to meditate to be able to fight them. Now, my main weapons in combatting a demon. First, faith. Faith in God is key. Fear of God is key. Beg from him, and no other. Note: To people such as Wiccan Druid etc. your choice whether you wish to ask power from your specific lord/friend, but for me God is the first choice, being the Strongest, and most loving. I know it doesn't sound like much, but coupled with the others you will know peace. The second, which is actually my first technique, is the name of God. I have the Sikh name for God, and our mantra, which suits me fine. Anyone wishing to use it should look up the Mool Mantra, and memorize it. This mantra is the bane of Darkness, and helped me defeat the first demon I defeated alone. You can request from God, but the feel of the word is hollow to my ears. It doesn't describe the all-pervading supreme essence a word like "Om" sounds to my ears, but God is also a name of God and if said with faith will work. However, FAITH IS KEY. It is not what you say, but how you say it. All the desperation of your plight, all your weakness, all your begging, should be the tone and your mind should be focused on the All-Pervading love of God. Sidenote: I will also mention people who toy with the supernatural. Black magic practitioners must renounce it to use the mantra. However, other things such as Tarot etc. are not regarded as black. You're allowed, but, well, Sikh's don't use any magic, for the only magic that is good is the magic gained directly from God. Shouldn't effect God's intervention though if you don't will ill towards others. Also, Druids and Wiccans, your lesser Gods also work in this, though not as complete, they are still strong. Just... remember that they all beg from the supreme force. Like a religious quote "Some beg from the King, some will be from a beggar". Now, the third aspect of the weapon, the third technique, is longer prayer. If you find yourself in a time of attacks, make a habit of praying, meditating, simply talking to God. Remember, he knows the heart of hearts, and is listening and all pervading. Indeed, as this thread forms, I find that it is a single weapon I tell you of. Therefore, let me add, a fourth. Now, you can download "Gurbani" online. I would suggest Sukhmani Sahib, which is long (about 1 1/2 hours) but effective. And it's alright if you don't understand. It is about the feeling, the vibe you are accessing, although you can look up translation if you like. Sukhmani Sahib listened to once before sleep, or even if listened to all night (hit repeat) and watch. Other shabads such as Jap, Savaiye, Chaupai (relatively short, except Jap) all invoke different aspects of God, but still the fullness of God. Look up the descriptions if curious. I know it is frustrating, but now for the causes. Demons are found many places. You can encounter one through someone wishing it upon you, reading a name in a book, or simply by being you, a person with affinity. Of course, when dabbling, one should learn what they are doing, and not wander blind. Therefore, a combination of Yogic knowledge and prayer work better than a ritual summoning whatever spirit is close. Again, I am not trying to convert anyone. But Sikhism is about meditating on God in your own faith, and only joining it if your destiny seems to desire it. Otherwise, stick with your own path. This is only to help others, because simply put, things such as dreamlike but not really rape are what they are, not illusions or dreams, but something nefarious in nature. So if you wish to say something against what I have written, go perform a exorcism rite on everyone who has a demonic dream. Keep going to Church people, but bask in love, not hate. And remember : "Whatever one sows, he reaps". Anyone who has any questions, please email/message me. And if you need help, I will help who I can. That is, I would try to ask God's mercy on your behalf. Since in Sikh scripture, " If one claims to be the doer of things, then he is wandering blind in a repitition of lives and will not be respected in the next world." |

You make no sense, was someone asking about a dream in which they were attacked by demons? I would look at the obvious first, demons usually equal fear. Fear from what is the question you need to ask. Demons can also mean deception and or struggle. Struggle from what is the question you need to ask. Demons are used in fiction and horror movies so they may appear in dreams as our antagonists because that's what we know.

You see, I have met my share of demons, and to think that they are not guided by their own machinations and are simply expressions of inner deception is incorrect.
Demons exist. Hell exists. When someone experiences a true demonic assault, as many who describe it on this site seem to be, then they realize this. However, since Hell exists, so does Heaven, and therefore it is obvious how they can ask for succour. It's not deception. They bring real pain, disease, negative emotion, and raging demonic thoughts that are not typical of the person who is experiencing them. They are, by definition, a external player. I am describing externally exposed demons. The inner ones, well, they are tackled in much the same way, but also through self-control and understanding their nature. Any questions ill be happy to answer |

I agree with much that you say about demons. I was simply trying to show that not all demons in dreams actually represent demons, although they definitely can. It seems to me that a person strong in faith and able to do spiritual battle with demons and win, would leave them only one way to attack them ... through dreams. But most texts I have read about dreams clearly state that things, people and places in dreams usually represent something else and it is from a certain characteristic of them that we make the connection, for example demon = fear. I am not saying that demon can't ever = demon, it's just not my first guess. If you have been in contact with a lot of demons in your past then maybe you should change how you are going about life, unless you are actually seeking them. But be careful because even the Archangel Michal when disputing with the devil about the body of Moses did not bring accusations against him but simply rebuked him in the name of the Lord. So if Michal isn't trying to pick a fight then you should follow suit ... but I see your a Sikh so you probably don't believe in Michal.
