Default Dreamcatchers: Do they really work?

I really think tey do. When I was 10 I remeber having a wierd experience, I had just fallen asleep and it was the start of a really scary nightmare because something jumped out from behind a door and screamed just then it was blocked by a flash of brown! Then I woke up and there was an extra bead on my dreamcatcher!

I don't think they work at all but you're not the first Wiccan who has said that they do. Think about it, what about the dream catcher would make it work? Is it enchanted? blessed? made of something holy? However, if you believe it works it probably will.

Do you have faith in them? Then it works.

My problem is that I have lost all faith in everything. But I always like to hear stories like these.

I have a dreamcatcher and I have lots of dreams, good and bad. I don't believe they work, but I think they are very pretty! Mine is Blue and purple feathers with green beads. When I wake up and see it, I smile, So, I guess it works for me.

I suspect that for Native Americans who make their own and weave in things that they feel are sacred and personally symbolic, they probably work quite well, just as any protective meditation or ritual would work.

Buying ones that are commercially mass-produced probably won't yield the same results though. Like with anything, right? It's got to come from inside, the heart and spirit. The commericial ones are still pretty though, and I love dreamcatchers!

I make dreamcatcher ear rings sometimes.

Default brokem dream catcher

hi!

basically dream catcher doesnt work, what works is the believing of the dream catcher.

You just need to find something that will help you to remember your dreams it can be anything. in the past i used a rene magritte picture of a moon.

Default Dreamcatchers

Dear WiccanSam: I liked your post. I have had no experience with Dreamcatchers myself. I would also agree with Psychic test in his reply to a point. I believe some people are better able to tune brain frequency signals to the palms of the hands and bottoms of the feet than others. These are two areas of the body that are most adept at energy transferance. Obviously those skilled in navigating these energies would get better results from a string of Rosary beads than others. Now heres the great exception and likewise avenue of mystery. The quartz crystal has piezo electric qualities. That is, when compressed or rubbed an electrical charge is generated. It would be logical to assume experimenting with quartz energies could take us into realms we have never approached before. Those folks with intellectual curiosities will get a lot of distance out of new age radio/light energies, it goes without saying. Best regards.
