| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

Hello crystallove81,
Making a note of what you want to dream about is an excellent first step towards the kind of extraordinary self-communication and understanding that dreaming offers. Should you try this method again, consider dreaming with a purpose beyond mere experience; i.e., make note of some personal question you'd like answered, problem you want resolved, or an understanding you want to acheive. More than just a wake-up call or an amusement scape, dreaming is always an opportunity to partner with your innermost-self in a venture of limitless discovery and enlightenment.

Sigmund Freud was a very attractive man to the sexually starved females who consulted him. If you read his interpretations of dreams, many of the dreams he interpreted were actually caused by the sexul attraction of the therapist: himself!! Cheer Wolfjk

Hello crystallove81,
I'm surprised you haven't determined your dream's message: requesting an awesome dream from your unconscious is like a therapist who only desires to take advantage of you for his personal enjoyment instead of helping you to understand your mental (dream) experiences. On some level, you understand that reveling in your dream experiences is not what you should be doing. Consider my earlier post as you decide what you should do next. I hope this helps.

i don't completely understand what you meant by this (but i'm totally interested!!!!):: ------>''requesting an awesome dream from your unconscious is like a therapist who only desires to take advantage of you for his personal enjoyment instead of helping you to understand your mental (dream) experiences.'' "On some level, you understand that reveling in your dream experiences is not what you should be doing.''<------(and when you said this, i was thinking that u are right but i'm not too sure on why not /? it's quite an experience to have a dream of ones choice--lucid dreaming especially-although i haven't in awhile and have been patiently waiting to (it's been couple years now since i've had a lucid dream)

Hello crystallove81,
Quote:
In your dream, your unconscious self was represented by you, while your conscious self was represented by the therapist. The dream showed how your unconscious self (you) perceived your conscious self (therapist) as someone who should be helping it to understand itself, which is what we all expect of a therapist. Instead, your conscious effort--as suggested by the randy behavior of the therapist--was to engage your unconsciousness in what it considered unproductive behavior. This was the effect of trying to focus your dreaming on experiences of pleasure rather than purpose. At this particular time in your mutual experience, your unconscious self wants a therapist as a partner in its pursuit of understanding instead of a self-absorbed adventurer. Regardless of your past dream experiences and what you may consciously believe, dreaming is a serious endeavour for your unconscious self. To your unconsciousness, thoughts are deeds. With the vast resources at its disposal, you are capable of reaching depths of understanding and personal experience very few will ever know. The access to all of this is how this all began--with a purposeful note to self before sleep. I hope this helps.
