General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office.

Can you help me figure out what this dream means?

Default Can you help me figure out what this dream means?

I have been having this dream continuously for the past month and a half. I don't know what it means, but I am getting curiouser by the minute.

Here's a little insight. I am happily married. Been in my current relationship for 5 years.

My dream: I am in the town where I grew up at. I am visiting my Mother and family members. My nephew asks me to take him to the store where I run into a freind of mine. She and I are talking, then the next thing I know I'm in a building of some sort. At first I can not make out the interior of the building, then it slowly comes to focus and it's a bar. I have never been to this particular bar before. So it's new to me. I see pool tables and smoke, people drinking and so forth. I am sitting at a table when an old flame walks in. In real life he and I had a one night stand, but have been friends for well over 14 years. He walks up to me and hands me a beer and a cigerrete. We start talking and dancing. The next thing I know we are driving down some old country roads, drinking beer, and hunting like we used to before I moved away. We started talking. The next thing I know we are standing in the yard to my ranch, where we always used to have parties and get togethers. He and I are standing there talking. Then he starts crying, asking me why did I leave him? I stood there wondering why he had asked this, knowing what we had was just a one night stand. He took me into his arms and kissed me so softly and gently that when I wake up I can still feel his lips on mine and I am literally calling out his name. I have done this so many times in the past that I have woken my husband up by calling out this persons name. My husband once told me that I was actually holding a conversation with this person in my sleep and he understood every word I said. I don't know what this means, but I am just anxious to know.

I did have a crush on this person when we were in school. He went to prison for 8 years and I wrote to him daily. When he came home he looked me up and that's when we started talking again. And then that's when the one night stand happened on New Years Eve. I'm just wondering what this means. Can anyone please tell me?

Hi,
After 5 years the fire starts to cool and the desire for change kicks in! They call it "the seve year itch"! You have to re-invent your love life with your husband else you'sure to stray!
No!! Your dream is not telling you to get in touch with this fellow, it is your feminin instinct being drawn to someone who is useseless!
Cheers Wolfjk

I had a dream that my brother was in a weird mood, like if he was mad or dissapointed. When I looked at him, he was cutting his own skin with sissors, and i started crying, and he looked at me with a smile and then he put his head on my shoulders. Can you guys tell me what this means?

Of course I can tell you what this dream means, it doesn't mean so much about your current relationship as it does your old one; I know you said "one night stand" but you can't have one of those if you're friends with the person for 14 years. But undoubtedly you left something unresolved when you ended that relationship (either the sex part or the friendship part) and it has bubbled back up to the surface. It could be as easy as leaving without saying goodbye or more complicated to leaving or ending the contact without a true explanation as to why. Only you know if you ended things properly (and that would be properly according your own standards, no one else's) so don't buy what other people are selling about spicing up your own marriage. All you need to do is come clean and you'll be fine.
