this has helped me- keep open minded through out the day and take a good look at every surrounding object *but don't concentrate to hard then it may just slip your mind

This is similar to what i do to try and remember dreams because I've found i remember a lot more of a particular dream if I'm not directly trying to. Its as if the dream wants to come out on its own time through visual triggers.

Hi, I find the best way is to write it down soon after waking up otherwise dreams slip away with the day.

Hi,
Some dreams are dreamt specially to occupy your mind. Whilst you're thinking about the dream and trying to remember it, it takes your mind off something else that is bothering you.
In any case dreams won't tell you anything about your friend you don't already know!
Cheers Wolfjk
