Hello. I need to understand what happened to me last night. I wasnt that tired but started to fall asleep when all of a sudden a dark silhouette layed on top of me holding my wrists, I couldn't move and felt like I was saying stop. It was gentle, but I was still scared. The shadow had then kissed my neck and I remember it having a nice smell. It then touched my breast gently and went away. I then became un-paralyzed and just layed there wondering what in the hell just happened....can anyone tell me what that was?

analyze entire event piece by piece remebering any detail if you weren't asleep then you had an encounter with a being ive had sveral many years ago they always holding you down there are sveral diferent types sizes and shapes this one however sounds intersted in you lijke lust or love maybe.

I have had similar dreams (or experiences; and I understand how this is not clear whether one is awake), and so have two of my close relatives.

In our cases, the weight is NOT friendly, feels like it could suffocate you, and you can't move AT ALL, cry out, or anything and it DEFINITELY feels like you are awake. In ONE CASE, it was very shortly after a relative passed away... an I felt VERY endangered, did not know the relative well AT ALL and presumed perhaps she did not like me AT ALL (to put it mildly).

Other times, the dream felt like a warning that one of us was surrounded by something IN REAL LIFE that would be bad, harmful, possibly evil...and we should take great care to view our relationships and situations accurately. In each case, I felt that to be true after thinking about circumstances, and real events proved this out.

THAT SAID, it is SO frightening. To each his or her own but in my case, I chose to pray very hard and repeat the sign of the cross and other prayers. I had read that prayers in Latin are very powerful, so I said the sign of the cross in Latin the last time this happened, and it stopped immediately. THe other times it (the crushing feeling) went on a long time. I feel like I am awake, and when the weight goes away I immediately get out of bed..not tired. Another time I actually cried out to my father, who was deceased, to help me, and it stopped.

Sounds a little out there, but that's what I did. I just joined Dream Central, so I am feeling my way through posting, and actually, just posted a comment about this to a Chit Chat forum.

i had one like that but i wasn't asleep, i was on a bed watching tv and all of a sudden i couldn't move, couldn't talk ans i herd a scream and everything went black, when i was let go i was crying and ran out of the room, everyone told me i was just sleeping but i know i wasn't

I totally understand. I feel like you know when you are asleep, and especially that running out of the room (which you would not do if you were asleep, at least I think so).

I feel this happens when we are going through a bad time in our lives or there is something, like a situation (or someone), we need to pay attention to, be aware of a problem. Was it like that for you?

no it was just random, i wasn't sad it just all of a sudden hit me, thats why it freaked me out
