Am I the only one that has been covered up in there sleep without anybody else around? About a month ago I was laying on my bed in my room with the fan on me as I always do. I don't usually use my covers so they were at the foot of my bed. as I was laying there I started to doze off and finely did go to sleep. About a hour to half hour later I felt a soft pat on my back as to say there you go and I woke up in this drenched sweat. All the covers in my room were on me and tucked under my sides like someone tucked me in. I sleep with my bedroom door locked and there was nobody even in my house at the time. I would say that I covered myself up after I was half out of it and just didn't remember but I hate having anything on me when I sleep and I'm a very light sleeper so I'm positive that I would remember.
Also, When I was younger I lived at my grandmas house for a period of time and if I fell asleep no matter how hot it was out side I would wake up berried under a mountain of covers tucked in by my grandma the very same way I found myself a month ago. My grandma has been dead since 2005 and I don't believe in ghost. But, I have no explanation on how any of that happened or why it was exactly the same way my grandma did it. If something like this has happened to you or if you think you might have explanation for it all I would like to hear it. |

You can rest assured that your own dream made you cover yourself up! The fact is that we remember only a fraction of our dreams, and it is a very rare occasion when we remember any movements we mke in sleep. Yet if you watch some people sleep they make movements turn over, kick and land out with their hands. Some sleepwalk, some even cook ameal and eat it without remembering! All this has been observed on CCTV in sleep labs. My guess is that you dreamt your grandma took you in and did it yourself! Without remembering it! Cheers Wolfjk Chee

As I said that would have been my first thought too. But, the covers were tucked under my sides and arms in a way that I could not have done myself I mean there were like 5 or 6 blankets on me and they were neatly pushed under me from my feet all the way up past my neck. This is what has me confused. If I was just covered up I would not even take the time to put this up here I would just take it for granted that I did it myself. Again I don't believe in ghost or any crazy thing like that I'm just left a little confused on how it might have happened. I have a sleeping disorder and I might get about 2 to 3 hours of sleep a day if I sleep and any sound or movement and I'm awake and stay awake. So, the thought of me being covered up or covering myself up in my sleep is completely out of the question.
The similarity of it all was weird but, the fact it happened without me waking up that's what I'm confused about. The only logical answer to this is that I did in fact do it to myself it would be the first time I ever done anything in my sleep like this and I'm confused because I don't know how I did it so neatly. But, to look at it logically I have to say I did there's no other explanation. |

Hello Devildog501st,
For another perspective, could this have been the support or the proof that you might have been somehow seeking? Would any other experience have had the same affect on your deepest thoughts and reflections as one where no one living, outside yourself, could have been in your room? Perhaps the experience is the explanation. I hope this helps.

You probably did it in your sleep, but ghosts have done this sort of thing for their loved ones.

I think you might've done it in your sleep....but then again, I'm not entirely sure about that, since something similar happened to me too.
I was 7 or so, and was lying in bed, sleeping. I felt a soft caress on my head, and abruptly woke up. Later, when asking my mom or my grandmother, non of them did that. It kept me freaked out for a few nights. |

I've had a lot of things happen even wide awake that I know are spirits around me, mostly my guides and angels. I haven't ever found myself all tucked in, but I have woken from a dream that told me to "Feed the birds daily", knowing that the dream was about spiritual feeding and growth, and had a copy of a little study guide called "Forward Day by Day" come flying off my dresser and fall on the floor next to my bed. There was no one else in the room, and the windows were closed, so no breeze.
I've also experienced that touch when I got my Reiki I attunment. I was the only student that day. My Reiki Master was in front of me with both her hands on top of my head. No one else was in the room except her pet Cockatiel. I distinctly felt another hand on my right shoulder coming from behind me. I'm sure it was my guide, Leslie, though my RM said it was angels. All I know is, it was kind of amazing! |

I also feel that you covered yourself up during your sleep but my mind is always open to other possiblities; however I would need more than one occurrance before I started looking for ghosts.
