Question Making a phone call in her sleep

The other morning I got up early, letting my wife sleep in, and went to my computer in the living room.
After awhile, the phone rings. According to caller ID, it's my wife calling from her cell phone. Strange. I answer and I get silence. I hang up.
About a minute later it rings again, and again she's calling me. It happens a couple more times. The 4th time I just listen and don't say anything, keeping the line open. After a full minute I hang up. No more calls come in.
A few minutes after that I hear my wife getting up out of bed. I go talk to her and ask her if she's finished calling me. She had no idea what I was talking about. I asked her where her phone was. She didn't know. She looked around and found it in her pants pocket in the hamper. It's a flip phone so I know nothing was pressing the buttons.
She tells me that she was just having a dream where she was really upset about her car and was calling me from her cell phone. This was just before she woke up.
Really freaky.
I even checked the outgoing dialed calls log on the cell phone and verified it.

In college, I once answered the phone and wrote down the message for my roommate while I was asleep. If it wasn't my hand writing, I would not have believed it. Apparently, I haven't done it since.

Interesting. I've even knew a person that drove over 100 miles on the highway before waking up, wondering where he was.
However, this wasn't sleepwalking. She made that call without getting up and grabbing the phone in the other room.

Exclamation sleepwalking can be dangerous

I had a dream in college that I was locked out of my apartment. I woke up to my roommate saying that she thought someone was trying to break in, she found barefoot footprints in the snow outside her window on the roof. Of course we measured my feet and it was true. Glad I didn't dream of falling. We were both suprised that the cold snow didn't wake me up.

SLeepwalking CURE ?
I used to sleepwalk all the time until I was 20. I found that letting my dog sleep by my feet stops that behavior completely. Maybe the dog makes me feel more secure, maybe she holds my feet down, maybe she wakes me up before I get anywhere. I dont know. But if anyone has sleepwalking issues that might be an easy cure. Dogs also have a higher core body temp. which keeps the toes warm.
