Hello Mattimeo,
I have only done it once when I was ill as a child (mum gave me too many asprin I think). I went running along the landing, turning all the lights on, shouting that my sister was trying to kill me. I woke up in my mum and dads bed, with no idea how I got there.

I did see a really interesting program about this some time ago. The best bit was this poor guy who would suddenly start marching in his sleep. He would still be on the bed, but his arms and legs would be marching, and the covers would go flying. His long suffering wife was really tired (not sure why she didn’t sleep in another room).

Cheers,
Idgy

Resin8love – nice……sleep trumping.

Talking

well my sistes used to sleep walk when she was younger.

She actually ended up walking to our grandmas house(who lived a couple houses down)..it was hilarious, my brothers and I were chasing her down the street!.

Also my brother in law, he told me that when he was younger he was sleep walking down the hallway. The bathroom was to the right and he went to the left into the office and started to pee on the grandfather clock!.hahaha

But not me, ive been told that I talk in my sleep though?

Hi,
Sometimes it is difficult to differentiate reality from dreaming. Stress, overwork or nervous breakdown often causes sleepwalking. Childhood illnesses or fever is another frequent cause. I found myself sleepwalking a few times and wittnessed many other sleepers do strange things in their sleep.
On one occasion a fellow sent his room mate to the papershop for some cigaretts on a Sunday morning. The poor boy only woke up when he came back from the shop.
Cheers Woldjk

I don't remember it, of course, but I'm told I was once found wandering around the kitchen, ranting about how the "little people" were coming and earnestly attempting to recruit people to help me "round them up."

Me, I always love to hear sleepwalking stories from people I know. My favorite, I think, being the guy who was found intently searching through the fridge in the middle of the night. His explanation: "I'm looking for my shoes."

Also: Sleepdancing, to me, seems like an awfully good source of excercise. If you could patent it, you'd be a millionare overnight.

. . . Pun possibly intended.

Recently the there were some TV programmes on about sleep disorders. O last Teusdays programme there was a sleepwalker who got up and raided the food store. Some time ago there was a woman who prepared her meal, ate it and went back to bed without waking up. There was also a child sleepwalker and a sexomniac on.
When the subconscious takes charge, it is impossible to tell what happens next!
Cheers Wolfjk

Went through a sleepwalking phase when I was young, I am told I would always do the same thing. Walk down the stairs, leave the house closing the door behind me and go to the middle of the road and just sit there.

I'm pretty sure I grew out of it, but sometimes my son says things that make me wonder....
