Hello.. I am new to this site and hoping someone will be able to shed some light on my dream situation...
When we first found out we were expecting baby #3 I secretly hoped for a little girl as we already have 2 terror boys... I had 2 dreams on different nights both dreaming I'd given birth to a baby boy weighing in high... like around 12 and 16 pounds... wow I know.... i cringe at the thought.... about a month after the last dream I had one breifly and not as vivid as the first 2, but this time I had a little girl, but was dreaming I was pushing her around in her pram/pushchair not actually in labour like the first 2 were... The last night I had a horrible one where I was in the hospital corridore with my ES and watched my YS and DH walk to the car... then DH turned around when he got to the car, looked at me, and he looked drunk then... mind you I dont remember him looking that drunk when he left the hospital...lol... then he got in the car, took off waving at me and accelorating and then he crashed in to the hospital wall... I remember YS screaming "daddy" and running towards the car and I remmber screaming DH name and then I woke up... I dont know what to make of these dreams... The first 3 about the gender of my current pregnancy I have read on the internet that they can mean the opposite (having boys means Ill have a girl and visa versa) but I think someone on here may be of more help then that... Someone please let me know as I am going out of my mine... I dont go for a gender scan for another 4 weeks and my NUB shot at 13 weeks I have been told bequite a few ppl that it looks girly... But what do you lovely people think about these dreams?? Thanks in advance... |

Hello Holden Babez,
Sounds like you have quite a lot on your mind at the moment regarding your pregnancy. I would hazard a guess, that is why you are dreaming of the gender. This baby is on your mind. I’m not sure that dreaming of the gender of the baby is an accurate way of determining if it is a girl. I think that you need to prepare yourself that you have a fifty/fifty chance of a girl. I understand you really want a girl, but please don’t be disappointed if it is another boy. A few months ago, I lost my baby. It was severely ill with something called Triploidy. It would have been severely brain damaged, blind and was never going to survive childbirth beyond a few hours. So, if your baby is healthy, please don’t fret about the gender. I hope you get your little girl, but please don’t think about this too much. All the best idgy
