Dreaming about your boyfriend/ex-boyfriend?

I have known my ex-boyfriend for a year and 3 months now. We're connected in some way on a subconscious level. We started dating back in March or April of this year, and our love couldn't have been stronger for each other. The problem is that it was a long distance relationship. Every night that I would go to sleep, I would dream of him. Sometimes sexually, most of the time not. Most of my dreams it would be us being happy and having kids of our own. Since this weekend we've been broken up over the physical needs that our relationship hasn't been able to give yet. And ever since our break up I've dreamed of him and me meeting and being happy like always, just like before. We're always laughing and I'm always with him, and he's always with me in my dreams. He's the first person where all the dreams I have of him are in first person, and when I dream of something else it's in third person, like I'm watching myself doing something.

We still love each other and want to be together, but he wont let his pride down so I can help out in getting to him (money issues of course.) What do these dreams mean? Is my subconscious trying to tell me to stick with him through this because we can make it? I know one thing that if I'm not with him I wont be with anyone else for a very long time, and that when I am it wont mean anything to me.

Just for reference, I have dreamed of future things and they have come true, and I have deja vu everyday of things that I have dreamed before in previous months even years.
