So. Um. Hope I'm not doing this wrong.
Hallo there, I suppose. I've been dreaming for quite a while and I've been keeping a written record for slightly less time than that. I've only just stumbled on this place an hour or so ago, but from what I can tell I expect I'll find it very pleasant. That aside, in order to keep this from being a "wave and run back to the lair with nothing particularly worthwhile said" affair, I though I might start out with a question, eh? ...Okay, two questions, now. Anyway, for just shy of two years now, I've been keeping an extensive dream journal, and I've found it to be one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. Having just the other day filled up the fourth volume, though, and beginning a fifth, I thought I might try upping the ante from the usual fare (which tends to be fairly unusual to begin with) and spend a little time experimenting with creative and wholesome methods towards inspiring even stranger dreams than I usually get. I have begun by purchasing a bumper volume of Harlan Ellison stories which is about five and a half inches thick, and does indeed contain the one about the Harlequin. Currently, I'm hunting down a copy of "House of Leaves" and a decent recipe for rarebit. If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if you fellows had any other suggestions? |
