What is happening?

I randomly have a sence of de ja va... but recently I know I've been in a certain situation before in a dream.. it's very strange to me. example: about 5 or 6 months ago I woke and laughed with my son about a dream I had - something about bread, texting a girl and how he couldn't text her because she was not on the same wireless plan. Last night - I was buttering bread for dinner and my son was begging for text on his cell phone. I said to him, well..... if you want to text Annie you can't anyways because she is not verizon and it would cost a lot in the end. Then I stood there and said....... whoa....... THIS is that dream! Bread - son/text - not the same wireless plan. What the heck is this?
This had happend twice in the last month. Any suggestions??

I may be wrong, but your deja vu could be related to a subconscious knowledge of patterns between your son and yourself and as a result, probable outcome. The same sort of thing happens to me all the time. Kinda fun, eh?
