dream catchers
has anyone had a dream catcher or some other item that was suppose to regulate or stop bad dreams and it broke within a given time?

It would probably depend on the tribe as dream catchers are found in several different American Indian tribes. But remember, when talking about indigenous beliefs you're not talking about luck but very earnest spirituality. To treat it like folk lore or decoration is very disrespectful.
