I am an Athiest, as in i do not believe in god. I do not believe in a higher power. That does not mean i automatically disbelieve in the paranormal, that does not mean i disbelieve in the unproven, it merely means i don't believe in a ranking system at all really, and certainly no intelligent designer. I don't believe in God/ess/s, period. That's it.
I was just wondering how many other Athiests, no matter on your definition of the world, there are here. Because i'm seeing a largely disproportionate amount of Christians here. And Christian allegory does nothing for me. I thought there would at least be more pagans in a place like this, but it appears i was wrong. |

Hi, i just want to say i was once person who didnt beleive in a higher power, and i cant explain how i was changed but it did happen. Actually only maybe 3-4 years ago,and i was "raised in a babtist household" but never a beleiver till 3-4 years ago. It came on so overwhelming that i cant describe it in word's. I never looked for it or anything,it just came. I really beleive that when GOD is ready he will call a person but till then he let's us all go our own way, mine didnt come till i was about 33-34. i am 3 months away from 37 now. And i can tell you it is a struggle, that no one can help you with except the one who caused it. But i have read-re read alot of the bible and dreams are common in there, for instance the book of Job says GOD warns people in dreams.....anyway i am new here and just saw your post and kinda understand where you are coming from......Later

On a side note:
If you don't want any religious interpretations, not a problem. But, as a courtesy, perhaps you can mention it whenever you post a dream. This way the believers won't waste your time, and you won't waste theirs. Thanks. Last edited by Morning Star : 09-01-2008 at 12:18 AM. |

Hi,
In the worst situations , also this is possible you to dream something worth to understand something.Symbols like darkness and light or going from dark to the light .My time is not so precious, lets see for a while what are your dreams , I will answer but by religious moral base ( quranic), but short please. Good luck.

yeh i dont believe in god n i have found that u do get a lot of religious interpretations. I still think they are interesting to read because i just cannot get my head round believing in a higher power so i find them very puzzling! Im a very very logical person, i believe in unproven things as well and in some respect i believe there is such thing as a paranormal side but there is a certain level of logic to everything and as far as i know the bible more or less goes against all logic. So does evolution theory that we evolved from apes and such things. I went to a catholic all girls boarding school for about 9 years and i even got an A* in my GCSE Religious studies exam but i found that if you say you love him n he loves you you can prty much literally get away with murder.....I cannot find it in myself to take pity on a murderer because he 'repented' his sins.
