Dear NfoJunkie,
I made the most wonderful spaghetti frittata this morning, inspired by Rachel Rae, who I think might call it something else with the spaghetti in it... whole wheat spaghetti, that's the best! Eggs (nice high Omega-3 ones, of course), a little bit of cheese, peppers, onions, lots of herbs (rosemary, marjoram, basil, oregano, and just a dash of chipotle chili pepper)... cast iron skillet with olive oil... 375 degrees for 30 minutes... it came out really good and used up that leftover plain spaghetti very nicely. I have three more servings! Do you consider this communion in your faith? |

But of course! That's exactly what communion is! The flying spaghetti monster has his own flavor (which he gladly shares with us all), but so do the rest of us, and he loves it when we add our own variety & style to the pasta dishes we make and consume (doesn't even have to be spaghetti, OR be very good at flying. I personally make incredible lasagnas, but I never make it the same way twice). It is ONLY through tasting an excellent pasta that one can know how to make a better pasta. In this way, the flying spaghetti monster lives through all that know and love him & he takes on physical form each time we make a new pasta better than the one before it.
In all seriousness, I really don't wish to offend anyone & I hope I haven't. This thread was just everything I expected to see and more & I found the inevitable, pointless arguments amusing, though it actually isn't all that funny. The intent of this thread was probably just to find out which other users (of these forums) have a common (namely, Christian) outlook on life, & we all are understandably curious about who we're getting advice from or giving it to. I don't consider myself a Christian, but I also clicked on this thread because I was curious to see who does and doesn't believe in "God" and/or subscribe to an organized religion. I find many of you very interesting and intriguing, & I thank all that simply shared their own opinions without picking on anyone else's. Some might take your words less seriously if they disagree with your beliefs, but they might also take your beliefs more seriously if they agree with your words. As for me, if there's a God out there I'm certain that I'm following His tracks, but for now I can only rely on the infinite potential of the great unknown. Thanks for the laughs mano. It's good to see lighthearted comments. I guess I'm guilty of taking myself too seriously sometimes. It can be hard not to speak up though when you try your hardest to be a good honest person and somebody shoots you down, just for not belonging to the same country club that they do. Anyways thanks for making me take a step back and see it from a different point of view. - Manny |

Speaking of jokes....
Hi, Xena. When you say "more of" a deist, what do you mean? I've seen you on other threads insinuating that other users are satan worshipers, & even saw you scold someone because their dream involved a baby named "Jesus" that turned evil... Quote:
You say in some posts that you don't have any idea how to interpret dreams, while almost all of your posts are in the dream interpretations section, pretending you know what you're talking about and giving ridiculous advice (telling one girl she's pregnant, & telling another that she's growing weary of her husband in the army & implying that he might be gay). You even called one kid a chicken, just because he mentioned a "chicken cage" in his dream. You've posted 32 posts in the 2 days that you've been a member of this site, and as far as I can tell, you have yet to say anything serious or genuine, so I don't really expect you to answer me seriously now, but I have to ask... Why did you join this site in the first place? Are you really THAT amused by people that dream, or do you just get a kick out of tricking the "newbies" into following bad advice? Wait a minute.... I'm receiving an "ethereal" message that's explaining it all... Your World Of Warcraft account got banned and you have too much time on your hands. That's it, isn't it?! Dear writer: From my understanding og the old testament, the Israelites worshipped the Elohim. The word elohim in english translates to many. Basically the word worship can also be translated as to work for, and not so much hold in reverence. There is no question that when the Elohim, Angels, Announaki,or Astronauts were on earth in previous epochs, we as people worked for them . We worked for them in the garden of eden, and the gold mines of south Africa. We were also involved in the territorial wars they had agaist each other, many of which involved nuclear proliferation. Back then things were either their waY OR YOU GET NUKED. wHEN ..jESUS christ came along it would have been just a bit confusing to state he was the son of a few hundred astronauts. When prevailing information does not fit ones agenda its convienently changed (not that one would want to admit profits might be involved or anything like that). To continue with the story, the many became one, and the warlike angels past history was suddenly forgotten, and they reverted to becoming agents of mercy. One item noperson will contest is that Jesus Christ was a member of the essene school. The essenes believed in reincarnation. You can certainly follow very few people would gewt involved with a christian belief system if they were due for reincarnation anyway. Well sir: around the year 432 a.d. a church council was conviened and the reincarnation concept was conviently removed. We are left with the choices of dliverance from the astraunats who had in the past spread nuclear proliferation around the planet earth and hell. Now most folklore and legends have some basis in truthhowever slim that may be. The legends of hell come from the stories of the captives and slaves who had to work for the angels deep in the hot steamy gold mines of south africa. My personal opinion of all this is that if there is any deliverance at all, its pretty much on our own shoulders.

Why does it matter whos a "Christian?" I think you are being too judgmental of society. You would fit in much better during the "Salem Witch Trials" and I bet you would have a blast condemning innocent and educated people to burn. Whats wrong with you? Christians have always approved torture among those held prisoner overseas and the death sentence to those who disobey the law in TX. Christians are Nazi's, they want everyone to be just like them and if your not like them then you are categorized as a "bad person" or "Satan follower." One thing Christians hate the most is that everyone in the world is different and has different societies and will always have their own spiritual beliefs.
