Hi,
Interesting topic! I tend to have very vivid dreams around the full moon. I don't know about empirical research carried out regarding the effects of moon phases on humans but I do know that hospital A&E departments are very aware of the increase in admissions at the full moon. Also, there are more suicide attempts at the new moon. Here's something I found relating to some research carried out. And another news article Also, we shouldn't miss out the clear link between the moon and women's menstrual cycles. Why does it happen? My view is that we are powerfully affected by the moon. If it's strong enough to pull a whole ocean and we are made of about 80% water then it's got to create a tide in us as well. I dislike the belief that some people seem to hold that we are somehow apart from everything around us......

Part of what you say is true, when I was stationed in Korea I had my most vivid nightmares, would have made good movies.
