Are you skipping meals? I hear that skipping meals can make you put on weight rather than lose...
It might also be a hormonal or thyroid problem....I am no expert by the way, just trying to help. Consider seeing a doctor or a herbalist? |

Oh! Don’t worry. It’s just a common problem now days seen in many people. I have also faced the same problem, then my friend told me about Weight Loss 2008 It really helped me to reduce my extra pounds of weight and made me feel good. I will suggest you to go through this and hope it will help you also.

The problem you are encountering is consuming too many carbohydrates in your diet. Suggest you follow the Robert Atkin's diet for a while. Avoid all polyunsaturated fats as those are potent immune suppressors. Try reading Sally Fallon's book, 'Nourishing Traditions' which should help at understanding something about diet and how it affects us.

Do you have any other symptoms? Weight gain is a symptom of hypothyroidism.

Without a little more specific information, all that I can suggest is a close look at your diet and excercise. You may not have changed a single thing, but your metabolism may have come to a slow down due to the normal aging process.
On the other hand, if the weight gain is significant, say oh roughly 10 pounds or more within a month or two, you may have something going on pathologically. You may need to see a docter and have some tests run to check out some things like insulin levels, blood glucose levels, thyroid functioning tests, that sort of thing.
