Default Looking for weight loss ideas?

Hi! I am 35 years old lady and really becoming belligerent due to fast increasing weight. I made lots of efforts to reduce it but didn’t get any fruitful outcomes. I really feel uncomfortable when I come in contact with people who are slim and smart. I also want my appearance like them. Please give me some suggestions for reducing the constantly growing weight.

There are many excellent sites on the Net to help anyone seeking to lose weight but have a look at some of the articles at this URL: Online Nutritional Information and Nutritional Facts - Second Opinions, UK. One of the best methods (although there are others similar) is to follow the late Robert Atkin's advice on diet or simply ramp-down on your intake of carbohydrates; it works. Avoid too all polyunsaturated fats (vegetable oils) which suppress the immune system. Now you know the answer you have no excuse to be fat.

Don’t be so deprived it is really a familiar issue today. Many people are facing this problem like yours. But every problem has some solution also. Few days ago one of my friend met me and she was also facing the same problem in past but now she seems to be very happy and confident. She came across weight loss system which really helped her. I think you should try this. Hope it will help you too.

1. Dietary control and exercise. It’s true what they say - all you need to do is watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume.
2. Change your lifestyle.
3. Identify your exercise. No exercise was created equal. You might like running, so run. You might like jogging, so jog. You might like stationary bikes, so bike stationarily. Find the one that works best for you .
4. Set realistic goals. You can lose 50 pounds in a week if you work out 12 hours a day and eat nothing but celery - but not if you’re human. Slow and steady wins the race. Don’t bite off more than you can chew.
5. Women aren’t men. It’s been proven that men can lose weight more rapidly than women can, which is likely due to our physiological makeup so have patience...

I have tried so many diets in my life that have failed me. Diets don't work, eat what you want in moderation. It took me a long time to realize that, I usually eat 6 times per day and I have lost about 10 pounds in the course of a month. I use this site called slim.com and it helps me manage the amount of calories I consume. Its a free site so you don't have to participate in anything that involves you giving your credit card number. I learned that to get to a healthier weight means that you have to change the way you view foods. Processed foods are horrible for you. Avoid them at all cost. SO now your probably wondering ok well then what could i eat ? make your own food. Thats the key and always eating every 2-3 hrs it helps keep up your metabolism. Also the more you work out the more you could eat. Many don't understand why but here I will explain. Your body alone without any ex cerise normally burns 2,500 calories. So lets say you went walking for 1 hour at a normal walking speed lets say 2 mph you would be burning 229 calories . So now lets add what your body usually burns with the work out 2,500 + 229 calories=2729 in a day with that walking you would burn 2729 calories now the trick is to eat 500 calories less of 2729 which is the amount of calories you should consume to lose 1 pound a week. If you were to walk every day for 1 hour eating 2229 calories a day you would lose 1 pound. Your wondering why you have to subtract 500 ??? in order to lose 1 pound you need to burn 3,500 calories 500x7( each day of the week)=3,500. Be wise in the chocies you make with food because 2229 calories is a good amount of food. You wouldn't want 1000 calories waisted on a gross big mac with fries when you could have a tuna sandwich with cheese with chips for half of the amount of calories. Watch out for mayo its loaded with calories. I wish you the best of luck. Slim.com relaly works

I heard in the news that diets where you eat more fat and less carbs is the fastest for losing weight. Like GI, or what it's called... I myself, like more the hard work way, I don't really like diets and all.. I do like this, I have like a few excersises I can do, So I tell myself, If I can't do 40 of that excersise I wont get to sleep. Set up goals, resonable ones.

And good luck! I like when people can admit they have a need to lose weight and just don't blame something else.

I would really advice against Atkins or a variation of it. It is not healthy for your body to enter ketosis, actually it is quite unhealthy.
What has been working for me is actually rather simple and I eat a good amount of food.
1- Exercise regularly, 3 times a week at least.
2- Eat a balanced diet, incorporate carbohydrates like rice or pasta in moderate quantities, eat protein (usually meat), and a lot of fruits and vegetables. I eat salad with every meal. I actually eat the salad before the meat and carbohydrates because I feel more satiated and I don't feel like eating as much.
3- It is better if you eat several smaller meals instead of two large ones. Your body will curve its insulin and will help you not to put fat on.
4- Get rid of everything that is very processed. No debbie cakes, no coke, no pre made food. I cook everything from scratch, I can control what exactly I am putting in my body like that.
5- Avoid dressings. I just use oil and vinegar. Avoid butter, use olive oil. Use lots of spices to flavour your meals and you'll discover great and tasty combinations.

Drink lots of water
Portion control is a HUGE thing. Way bigger then most people realize. Just cut everything you eat in half.

Walk...if you can walk everywhere you go then do it. If you must drive park as far away as you can and walk to the building.

Don't sit still encourage your body to move...even just by bouncing your legs etc while sitting at the desk. This stimulates your metabolism.

Eat healthy snacks and do not skip meals.
