| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

That is an interesting point you bring up regarding the cholesterol. I do not think I am having issues like that at this time, but my son's pediatrician told me that my son needed to lower his cholesterol because it was 183 and now 180 is considered high. Well he stopped eating eggs a few months ago, and when I began dieting about a week and a half ago, he joined me. (He is 5'9" and 220 lbs, muscular build). So he has lowered his fat intake. Okay well, I just noticed in the last few days, he has developed a tic sort of thing in his neck muscles, and I asked him about it. He says he started it because of some dry throat thing, but now it is uncontrollable and like a habit. Well I looked up tic in an old doctor book I have here at home, not yet on the net, and it said it they are commonly caused by minor psychological disturbances. Could this tic thing be related to the diet??? It seems to be brought on by anxiety.

Don’t be sad. It’s just a common problem and the solution is a simple one. You should not take this as a disease, but rather a challenge that you can and will over come. There are many ways to got about it…….but its just as you said…..the failures are counted more than the success. My friend was in the same situation and she was really frustrated after putting on the weight again. She finally came across a weight loss system that not only gave her a reason to smile but did the magic work that she wanted
to get done. I would advise you to give it a try….as it can be a turning point to your life. All the Best!!!! |

Consider what your ideal weight should be in kgms and take 1 grm of protein for each kgm of your weight. Lets us say that your ideal weight would be around 60 kgms then take 60 gms of protein daily which would be your body's requirement. Then half this amount of carbohydrates but avoid taking grains so 30 gms of carbs possibly in the form of fruit say with cream. The body needs fat and its daily requirements are high; it needs twice as much fat as it requires protein but only saturated fat. This information has been culled from recent research in dietetics. There is no need to count the calories on this diet. Your weight will reduce slowly but you sure will be healthy. Good luck to you.

Hi,
A couple of good reads that may help with your weight loss journey: Kevin Trudeau's "Natural Cures They Don't want you to know about" Some of what Jennings mentioned is in that book. Also, books by Dr. Christiane Northrup. "Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom: Creating Physical and Emotional Health and Healing" is one I just finished. It shed A LOT of insight on why women are sick and/or overweight. Another one of her's I'm working on now is "Mother-Daughter Wisdom:Understanding the Crucial link Between Mothers, Daughters, and Health." Very enlightening. Dr. John R. Lee: "WHat Doctors may not tell you about Pre Menpause (Balancing your HOrmones between 30 and 50.)" I know you are younger than that, but somr of the info is helpful at any age. These can be found in any book store, or on Amazon. Secondly, a year ago, I started taking a probiotic regimen for a systemic candida infection. As part of that regimen, I started taking Digestive Enzymes. As a result of those, I started feeling better, I got off my extremely expensive acid reflux medication, and I lost 20 lbs in 3 months without even trying. I now have the energy and motivation to exercise regularly. Finally, my husband and I are very conscious about what we eat. We try to eat as much organically grown produce and meat/dairy products as possible. Conventionally grown produce and meats have pesticides and hormones that act as xenoestrogens in the body, therefore disrupting the estrogen/progesterone balance. Estrogen dominance is linked to weight gain and cancers. OUr diet isn't 100% perfect by any means, but we try to cut back on the refined sugars, and eat more organic produce when possible. I hope this helps you! Good luck and God Bless! Peace to you

It sounds as if Rubin has faded away; I wonder what her diet was?
