Does the name "Mr. Parchment" mean anything to anyone?

I had three dreams in three nights all centered around a mysterious character named Mr. Parchment. I have no idea what they're about, but I feel like it's important.

I posted the third dream here but got no responses.

Does anyone have an idea of what "Mr. Parchment" could represent?

That was a pretty strange article, though I don't think it's linked to my dream. It could be possible that I overheard someone talking about it without noticing, but I really doubt it. The Mr. Parchment in my dreams is very wealthy and never seen, he owns property everywhere and runs strange shady seeming facilities.

In all three dreams, I ended up in a place owned by him. First it was an island full of shopping centers with lots of people that looked very similar and seemed to be keeping something from me. The second, I was chasing someone and they ran into a black glass building that looked like a bank but had confessional type stalls inside, Parchment Inc. logo was on the overhead. And the last (the one I posted here) was in a facility owned by him, something like a center for studying psychic abilities, I'm not sure.

In this last post of yours it sounds almost as if you have been implicated in shady dealings possibly involving real estate (of some description) with a wheeler-dealer. Whatever happened, it looks as if you were pursuing legally someone over a cash transaction to which the person may have confessed. There seems to have been either a degree of guessing or possibly that of a 'hunch' involved. The name Parchment may have connections to a lawyer or legal proceedings. It certainly appears to embrace some kind of challenge.

Would this dreamscape happen to be in connection to a book that your were currently reading or is it connected to your own circumstances?

Your ideas were pretty sharp, and rereading the dream I can see where you might pick these things out, but I haven't been involved in any dealings at all lately real estate or not. No reading either unfortunately, working and sleeping. The settings and characters in these dreams, were never an offshoot of anything from the day, movies, conversations ect. Always out of left field. The curiosity and the challenge do seem to be the strongest themes in all three dreams though.

There seems to be the lack of cohesion in what you say about the dreams so to grasp the overall theme is difficult, The ingredients seem to suggest that there is some source of abundance which operates covertly and to which you seem implicated and those in your immediate environment appear to be concealing something. Then there is the chase ending in some public building where there may have been a confession and possible subsequent psychiatric treatment. I still suspect that Mr Parchment has connections to legal proceedings. You haven't, per chance, been involved in nefarious activities?

I'll try to give a general breakdown of the first two dream settings.

I. I was on a privately owned island(in the dream I figured I was somewhere in southeast Asia). Almost everywhere you looked, were shopping centers. The people on the island had suspicious looks on their faces and were backward about answering any of my questions. One woman at the end told me that the island was private and that a Mr. Parchment was the owner of everything here. She seemed a little nervous.

II. I was in an area close to where I live now, but a lot different. The sky was bright and colorful, it was just before sundown. I was chasing a man in all black and a black baseball hat. He ran into a giant black glass and steel building. The building was pretty extravagant. Inside were many distinguished, 'important' looking people. Some were entering or exiting the confessionals, but I was too caught up in finding the man to notice them in the dream. The front desk said Parchment Inc. The people here weren't helpful, they were hiding something. I never caught the man in black. Though there were confessionals, the place was an important business building(in the dream I knew this). Everything of importance was on the upper floors, but you needed a key card to access the elevator.

So there are the first two. And I'm sorry to tell you that I have not been involved in any nefarious activities, hermano.
