like being chased??

i keep telling myself i dont believein love. not the kind you have for family i mean the kind you're supposed to have for a boyfriend/girlfriend. it's true that ive dumped most of my boyfriends after a few weeks...longest was 3 months. maybe i'm just concerned about being vulnerable, but in alot of my dreams, if i'm not saving a bunch of strangers or protecting my family from murderers or monsters, i'm being chased by one or several men. they are always attractive so in my dreams the emotion i normally get is "i'm running from you, but i'm not trying too bloody hard otherwise you wont catch me..." if that makes any sense. it's like i want to be caught.
now, depending on the mood i'm in when i fall asleep, i either fall over on purpose so they'll catch me; become cornered and give up; or sometimes when i am caught i feel as if i could easily overpower my pursuer, so i let him/them do whatever he/they intends.
i find on most occasions that i like the feeling of being overpowered or helpless, because in real life i find, outardly, i'm the exact opposite.
also in these dreams, when i am caught i can feel their bodies against mine and they always seem warmer/stronger/heavier. and i LIKE IT :P

any ideas on why i'd dream such a thing?

(other days when i'm at my confident self i dream of running and hiding but can see in the dark and tend to alienate the chasers one by one. i feel like a wolf or some sort of stealthy animal, but am myself)

Maybe you want to fall in love? Maybe you want someone to can "over power" you with their love and make you fall in love? I don't know, but that's my take on it.
