Please Respond: Do You Believe People Can Communicate Through Dreams

I've dreamed of this stranger several times and sometimes the things he says in the dream come true in one form or another. Do you think it sounds crazy or could he maybe actually be real? Or some sort of spirit or... what?

It is your own subconscious taking the ....! If you have a tendency to belive in fairies your subconscious often provides a few.

There are many unexplained things but I tend to think that we are made up of many parts and there is a certain part to us that is a very old all knowing part (illustrated by the wise old hermit or the healer) that does know things and sometimes communicates with our concious psyche. But we will imagine it in a way that suits ourselves. Carl Jung had an animus in the form of a young girl 'if memory serves' that used to guide him through dreams.

do you know the stranger? when he tells you something and then it happens...is it good or bad? have you wanted to see into the future? if so then this person is coming to you and giving you that gift. he is telling you what is going to happen so that your "dream" of wanting to see the future has been fullfilled. just a thought. ramblings really. . it may be a spirit that was actually psychic and he is passing teh gift to you. so i think it is a spirit just trying to get back into life possibly. those are my thoughts. peace.

It kind of seems like one of those things where it is just yourself in another form. What kind of things is it that come true? Things that your trying to accomplish or whatnot? That might help in debugging this one... Ive always considered the concept that maybe others can communicate with you in dreams, but at the same time I kind of think its ridiculous. It would make since though if the things that are happening are kind of in your thoughts. Let us know.

They were really random things. Once, he gave me a ring and told me to wear it. Of course when I woke up I didn't have it, but the next day one of my friends got a ring. she couldn't fit it and she gave it to me. It was a perfect fit and it looked just like the one he had shown me in the dream.

That was one instance out of a few. They were really random things that didn't make too much of an impact on anything in particular.

I think the fact that things from my dreams happen so often made me question if the stranger in my dream was real. Maybe you guys are right though and it just is another form of myself. Because I have dreams like that all the time without seeing this person.

I've seen strangers in dreams and then met them years later. I've seen things (really kind of random) that occur in real life. Like once, I dreamed that I was riding with my parents and a star fell in front of our car. THe next day I got a weird sense of deja vu, because we were riding on that street I saw in my dreams. I looked up at the sky and there was a bright star shining in the position I had seen it fall from. I learned later that it was Venus.

I always felt that dreams and nightmares are an abstraction of daily life. Emotional, physical, manifestations that are suppressed in consciousness, often reveal them selves in a raw form in your dreams, or nightmares. I could be way off, but that's how I've always known them to be. Sorting out all the sensory perception of the day. Although that does leave a lot things unexplained.

The voice of the stranger is most likely another aspect of yourself which meantime I cannot recall the term for this feature. The realisation of the information imparted could be connected to some logical outcome of which your subconscious mind is aware but which your reasoning mind chooses to ignore. On the basis of what you say I would doubt if there is anything paranormal about those experiences.
