| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

But maybe you think this as well, I hate that I see all these people posting there dreams and they have so much detail and all of this detail means something. Why can't I remember all the detail in my dreams.. UGHHH So Do you think the same or is there a ritual I should do before I go to sleep to get me ready to remember?

hmm, I don't know of any, but if you really care about remembering them enough than you will, and the more you focus on them the more you will remember them.

Hey vmauricio
I used to only ever remember the basic facts in my dreams, just like outlines. Anyways, it was really bothering me that I had so much trouble remembering the details so I looked around on the internet. The main thing I kept coming to was to constantly remind yourself that you do want to remember your dreams, especially right before going to bed. They said it's like arguing with your subconscious (because we're setup to natural disregard dreams). But it worked for me after getting into that habit. Another thing that's helpful is to relax when you're trying to remember the dream, don't force it and more details will come to you. I hope this is helpful. Good Luck. - Manny |

Quote:
Dreams do theirwork in sleep and they dont convey too much useful information to the waking person. However if something unusual happens in the sleep and the dreaming mind has to respond to it very quickly, the memory of the dream is etched into the memory. It is like in wking life: You may go to work for some time, nothing unusaual happens, and one journey is the same as the other! If you go to work one morning and wittness an accident, you remember it more and longer. Cheers Wolfjk
