I am new here and have a bizarre question. First off, let me give you my background. I am Wiccan which means that for me dreams can be prophetic and can create a connection between this world and the next. I have even photographed glimpses into other realms as my avatar would suggest. That is a fayrie I photographed at my nephew's second birthday party. But I have gotten off the topic at hand. In 2005 I gave birth to my deceased son. It was one day before my own birthday. After the event, I was plagued with nightmares of my baby crying and I could never find him. A while after that I began having dreams where I was with my son. He was happy and healthy. The odd thing, is that he ages in these dreams at the same pace one would expect of a real growing child. I can always count on seeing him the night of his "birthday" and he seems to communicate telepathically in these dreams. He never mentions fear or doubt. He never questions why he died. He simply tells me it is ok, and that he hates to see me cry. The last one was very touching, because he was able to speak vocally, as a child of that age would be able to. He saw me crying and came up giving me a big hug and said "Mommy, don't cry." I have toyed with the idea that this is just my way of dealing with it, but the fact that he is aging makes me wonder if there may not be some other meaning here. As I said, my belief is that dreams can open doors, however, I am somewhat skeptical in interpreting this by ones self. If you interpret your own dreams you can often come to conclusions that you want to believe and not see things as they really are. I have discussed these dreams with my high priest and priestess, and they feel that it may be the real thing. I just thought I would ask people of other faiths and belief systems what they thought. I also thought I might find other mothers and fathers who have had similar experiences.

Hi,
My condoleances and feeling very sorry for the loss. In my beleif and as Islam says, deceased underage children will be under educations of Abraham the prophet ( Peace be upon him) in the spirituals.when they were ready they will have a trial to enter the next life after the resurrection day.Till then they will be with him. Dreaming of a deceased son is interpreted that a traveller will come to visit in two months time. If a deceased person hugged you means an illness will cure because he is from eternity. Good luck.

Dear Mari (can I call you that as your name is too long to write?)
Your post pulled at my heart. I can only imagine what it would be like to carry full term and go through what you have been through. I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I certainly believe that there are other realms and that they sometimes overlap with the physical plane of earth. During sleep, I know it is possible to travel to other places and also to be visited by other beings (you know it is a not a dream because you are lucid and have an actual conversation with another being). I think your son visits you and wants to comfort you. I have spoken a few times in my dream with my Aunt who passed away. Also, once whilst lucid I saw my granddad walking towards me. He looked so well. We gave each other a big hug and I knew he was ok. He didn’t say anything, which makes sense as he was a man of little words. I know that I saw him. Like you, I believe that dreams are doorways, especially if you are lucid. Have you read any threads in the lucid dream section? If you are interested in worlds that exist outside our senses, there is a really good book called Supernatural by Graham Hancock. The section on cave art is a bit lengthy, but if you get through that (I skipped a lot of that chapter) you may find there is a lot in there that you will identify with if you are interested with the Fayrie phenomena. Being a Wiccan, I’m sure you’ll find it really interesting. It certainly explained a lot of what I have been through whilst asleep. Good luck.
