Default Sketch in the darkness

While growing up in one of my childhood homes, I can recall occassionally seeing what I can only describe as a 'sketch' in the darkness/night. It would happen a couple times a year. It looked like an outline, like something you would see as a result of drawing over tracing paper. It looked like the head of a male human being. Most of the time, the head and the neck would be moving quickly, like it was walking fast. I would usually see this sketch from a side, but I think once or twice it may have faced me and smiled. This sketch or vision would only appear for about 5 seconds each time.
Sometimes, if I was playing the piano, I would feel a presence, and I would not know what it is, but I would just leave the room because I wasn't comfortable.
I hope that this was just a result of a child's overactive imagination (and I still have an active imagination!). We moved out of the house when I was 11, so that was a long time ago.
My parents say that as an infant, I spoke and played with entities they could not see. However, I believe that this behaviour is common with children and may not have anything to do with the supernatural.
I've also read that children's psychic levels are stronger than that of adults and they are able to see images from the past and future. What do you think?

Hi We are all born with the ability to access the higher realms, as we grow older society dictates that these visions are figments of our imagination, which leads us to lose this ability. ( a sad comment on our society). The ability to see and speak to spirits can be re-energised with some work on your part, through meditation and practice.
When you feel a presence, aknowledge them and ask what it is they want, then sit quietly for a few minutes to see if they answer. If you do not feel comfortable with a particular presence, then simply state that out loud and ask that they leave adding (only those who come in light and Love are welcome here).

Hi PassionSpirit,
I like the confidence Gypsy has in the supernatural, however I would rather go the idea that we become part of this great universe!
Reality is what you believe in and you can have all the creatures in a "Midsummernights Dream"! However you have the other humans to verify that what you imagine tallies with theirs.
Regarding your scetches and perceptions in childhood, it is not unusual for children to have imaginary playmates, and you can't convince them they are not real!
Some people never grow up!
Cheers Wolfjk
