You may find that 1st and 3rd person dreaming is the norm; it is probably that others seldom (if ever) describe their dreams in this manner, the description which tends to be connected to technique jargon.

Regarding the transmitter episode; you will be aware that we all like to feel that we are in command of all that affects us and whenever we lose this control we become frustrated, insecure, and feeling generally uncomfortable and tetchy with our situation; the extreme to this is the control freak, and the opposite, the doll who jumps from the top balcony. Nice to note that your are still with us!

I started this post thinking that I had an hour to spare but needless to say the goodlady has made lunch early with the intention of visiting friends afterwards and I will leave it to your imagination to decide who is in-charge in this household. She may only be 5' 4" tall, size 12, and with red hair, but then amazons come in that size and description too. Much better to go with the flow where there is less resistance than to put one's head above the parapet and become the target for crucifixion even though I am a tad taller than her (more like a 6' marshmallow)!

The late and great American Caesar of WW2 fame, Brigadier General Douglas MacArthur, who famously said, "We will return" and so will I.

Here are some more pieces of the jigsaw to assist in reminding you of your dream. The woods-like setting could have meanings such as pastoral, natural, or nature. City streets and sidewalks would be civilisation, organisation, unnatural, and possibly work related. Combined, they could indicate something possibly natural connected to your work environment. Accidental death while at work sounds like the severance of a meaningful relationship in which you feel blameless. The event having occurred while on your 'watch' would indicate a degree of responsibility. The significance of basement is connected to basic, elementary, primal, or desire. Caves are connected to protection, security, or concealment. The daily 'triggers' are obviously dream related and as they occurred quite frequently would indicate something natural to life. The inability of recall may possibly be connected to denial. "I don't really care" reveals that you do but you are angry, disappointed, and possibly feeling cold or abandoned. "It was just little feelings popping in an out of my head all day" is similar to the re-enactment of a hurtful or 'save face' scenario in which your mind is attempting to justify what happened or to bring the episode to a happier ending. This is the circumstantial evidence but only you will know the reality; all that readers like myself can do is show the direction in which the signposts are pointing. Finally, I am not an authority on dream analysis; just an amateur enthusiast who much prefers doing this than playing golf!

Sorry it took so long to reply back and thank you for your opinion, and for taking so much of your personal time just to write me. I live in South Western Virginia and the weather has been horrific this week. There are brush fires on the mountains here because of the summer drought and hurricane force winds.

That nagging feeling is completely gone now. I just wonder what it was and why my mind was so intent on figuring it out. Guess I'll never know for sure. Thank you all for writing me!
