lol I remember all four of my dreams and the order they happened and i rarely remember my dreams... Thank you for the interpretation.
Do you mind interpreting the four dreams?
Ill just give the main details:
#1 there is a bridge with a missing section going over a wide river (possibly the ms river) and then a car comes zooming down the round and they do not not the bridge needs repair. a crowed of various people i know are around and some that i do not know. the car flies off the bridge and begins to sink. A person i know then goes to rescue the person....
#2 me and my intermediate family are on a cruise ship and are being chased by some people. All members of my family are caught except for me. I`m still running but in the end I am caught also.
#3 I am on a boat with another person I do not know (this dream is kind of weird) and there are some really strong winds that are able to keep you suspended in mid air. Well i go to the top of the boat and then jump off to see if I would stay in the air. At first i do but then i am hurled a very far distance away from the boat. I start swimming and some how I end up back on the cruise ship from dream #2
#4 I'm traveling with a group of people that I know. Someone from the group and i go off for a little while and then these strangers come up to the two of us. They proceed to kill the person with me and disguise one of there people as the person that was with me. They tell me they will kill me if i mention to the other people that i was with...
that all of them

Bridge = Transition from one social state to another.
Missing section = inadequate or unstable foundation.
Car = drive to get somewhere socially or drive to reach some social destiny.
Falling Car = failure in effort to reach a social goal.

#2 me and my intermediate family are on a cruise ship and are being chased by some people. All members of my family are caught except for me. I`m still running but in the end I am caught also.
Cruise Ship = perception of cruising through life in relative comfort; a represenation of prosperity.
Being chased = an effort to escape some perceive mental, social, or emotional torment.
Being caught = a representation of not having the liberty to act as one pleases.

Wind = the winds of chance and change
Blown away = a representation of surrendering to chance and social changes.
Swimming = effort to not be overwhelmed by misfortune.
Returning to ship = a return to prosperity.

that all of them
Traveling = an effort to reach some new social, mental or emotional state.
Group of people = a representation of one's social peers.
Murder = to render deeply apathetic or disinterested in the viberant experience of life; i.e., emotional harm leading to severe depression.
Threat = a representation of the social or emotional intimidation to act contrary to one's true nature.

These appear to be the major points to your dreams. Try piecing them together for yourself and see how well you do.

wow thanks....
lol the you put makes it make a lot more sense.
I'm kind of antisocial esp. when I met new people...

it sounds like I will make a transition from being anti social maybe into some other social state but the transition is going to be rocky and fail...

this one i think is i will try to change socially and will have a little success

i think this one means that i will be over whelmed by the changes that are happening and try to seek refuge in a false comfort

i think the last one mean that i will try and yet fail again to change myself socially and somehow led me to getting sad so i will try to mask my true feelings

I am no good at all at figuring things out about myself

Could you expand on why dreams are difficult to remember through the evolution of our brain and how it evolved the use of memory?

I'm glad you asked. Here's the short answer suggested by the research I did for a book about the dreaming brain, which I wrote a couple of years ago. Memory was evolved to preserve the physical well-being of ancestral animals before those animals developed dreaming brains. What these ancient animals remembered were those experiences that had a real impact on their physical/material survival. Consequently, as descendents of these animals, certain parts of our brain that involve memory appear to become active only in the presences of real physical/material sensory experiences. Dreams do not appear to involve real physical experiences; physical/material sensory experiences do not reach our dreaming brain the way these experiences do when we are consciously awake. Because our dreams do not involve real physical experience, as actually perceived through our bodily senses, parts of our brain remain inactive and we do not give our dreams the kind of attention that produces a sustained memory of them. We forget our dreams easily because they are not concurrent with true physically. I welcome your further interest and queries.

That makes sense I can relate to that in the form of long term memory, as I don't really remember a dream that happened last year as I would an actual event.

However my memory recall of an actual dream the next morning can be very vivid remembering the tiniest detail of the dream, atmosphere, patterns, substance of the dream to the point that it actually feels more real than physical life and my senses more alive and tuned more finely, in this receptive state on dream recall my memory seems very good, though I do notice that if I have eaten late or wake up to an alarm clock, or with a mind that is busy and thinking about the days events my dream quickly recedes with out my ability to recall do you think these other 'activities' in our life can also impact on our dream memory and our ability to recall?

During our arousal from sleep, the sensations from our actual senses immediately begin to arouse our memories associated with conscious, physical/material reality. Because of the instinctual priorty given physical/material reality and its substantial affect on our wellbeing, the memories associated with our conscious experience begin to override our ability to form memories about what we may have dreamed moments earlier. Dreams are not concurrent with real sensory experience, which causes our brain to instinctually disregard their relevance. The remedy to this instinctual function involves our mindset about the nature of dreams.

What we remember most are those experiences that have a real or substantial impact on our physical/material wellbeing. Some of us, primarily children, have better dream recall because we perceive the experience of dreaming as having some real or meaningful impact on our lives. Because the human brain is predisposed to memorizing experiences of real impact on our wellbeing, we will remember our dreams better when we are more mindful of their relevance to our wellbeing. Dreams are very often the thoughts that become deeds. I welcome your thoughts.

I was very sick with the flu the last four and a half days. The second day I had a very high fever. When ever I dosed off I had this reoccurring dream that would wake me. Just a little info, I'm unemployed and have become extremely interested in magnetics. The reoccurring dream was two magnets flying past each other. I was awakened many times through out the day and night with this. Your thoughts?

Hello screaminvern,

To better assess your dream experience, I will probably need considerably more than you've provided. However, the levitating magnets are probably how your unconscious depicts the focus of your thoughts amid your flu delirium. This imagery provides a distinction between the nature of conscious and unconscious thought; i.e., the magnets lingering in your conscious thoughts become or appear as deeds or actions during your unconscious state of dream sleep. I hope this helps.

Default Deadly Poisoned Air!

Can you please interpret this Drmdoc?
11/17/09
In my dream my brother and I are packing food clothes and other supplies we will need, because a deadly poison had become airborn and was making its way across the earth. After we finish I drink some rive afee while waiting for my step dad to arrive home. When he does he and my brother load up the truck and then my sister arrives. My step dad starts yelling at my brother because he is taking his time and we are in a situation where we need to hurry. Soon after that my step brother comes and we are finished packing. (my mom never came and I did not even seem to notice ..) We all get in the truck and make our way to a building that will get us out of the city we are in. (the city is surrounded by a large electric fence.) In the middle between the building and the city there is a river that separates the two. On the other side of the river we could see a plane take off and then someone said "We better hurry the guiding plane is already taking off." When we get out of the truck we go inside the building and go into a waiting room where there is another guy. He had a fuzzy haircut and this I phone that was hooked to some device that does not even exist that I know of. The device allows him to use his I phone like a laptop. My step dad told him "The internet will cut out when both the north and south poles are poisoned."
The guy replied to him "No it won't... never mind it just did." After that a lady that helps run the building that allows people to leave and enter came and said. "You will have to wait a bit longer. We will first give you a presentation on the poison before you can leave." then she leaves the waiting room. All we wanted to do was leave and get to shelter, so we attempted to open the exit door but it was locked. Then the others see a button above the door, so they try to press it, but they can not reach. Then I try and I am able to press the button and open the door. (I am the second shortest person too... how is that possible) We make it outside and our truck is waiting for us. There are a lot of fences (electric) and gates to go through. Some how our stuff appears with us and we start putting it on the truck again. Then the lady comes out and said " How did you get out. Oh well, come in. If you want to leave you will have to watch the presentation." Then someone said "But we just want to get to safety." She replied "If you don't com in we will have to shoot and kill you.".....
my alarm clock woke me up and I did not get to finish the dream.
