Regarding your dream, from a conscious perspective, the qualities you may desire in the perfect companion may be unnatural to what a typical male is capable of being (half dolphin male imagery). Perhaps this dream suggest your unrealistic or unrealizable expectations. I hope this helps.

The odd thing in the dream is the face of the merman looks like a person who was up to be in my life but I chose not despite the long platonic relation. He turned out to be very controlling and other things so not the right person for me but I don't understand the dream; I seemed to be happy being with him and that's confusing to me.

Default I'm so confused

Guys, please help me interpret this dream please. I've recently been going through such a very bad patch and last night i was just in a state of panic. I prayed so hard for relief, surrender, breakthrough. In the mist of my prayer, i started calling out to my guardian angels (ANCESTRORS) and asked the lord why has he forsaken me and that he should give me a sign.

At around 21:00 i went to bed and had a dream that woke me up in a cold sweat and i mean really!!!

I dreamt that i had gone on a one day course with my collegues and that course was held at a place very close (almost the same property) to where my grandfather was born and lays there today with his lovely wife (GRANDMA) and my lil cousin, they've all passed on and are burried on this propety all three of them nect to ea other. I had only about 30mins break and i quickly rushed out to see if anyone stilll leaved on the property as i wanted to visit their graves. As i went out i was met by a woman carrying a very small baby on her back and she asked me if i had brought my white candle, it's as if she was long expecting me,i told her no and i tried to explain who i was and whose child i was but she told me that she knew me and that i must go through the gate to my family's graveyard (This grave yard is where all my ancestors lay). I knew exactly where my gran, grandad and cous's grave are but in my dream i went around looking for them and i was getting frustrated as i had very little time left and i just coul not find their graves then suddenly a pure white goat came towards me and i started hushing it away, it looked beautiful and harmeless then as i tried to walk on, there was a small brown calf starring at me and standing in my way that i couldn't carry on with my search, it stared at me and i felt instant fear then sudeenly the whole graveyard was filled with people having such a fun,it seemed like there was such a celebration of some sort. And as my dream was coming to an end, i could hear my self telling my gran, that i was truelly dissapointed that i could not find her grave and that i was glad and felt a sense of relief that i had made an attempt to visit it.

I have no idea what all of this means but as soon as i woke up from that dream i lit a white candle and said a little prayer and that was at 04:00am this morning. pLEASE IF ANYONE CAN INTEPRET THIS....I'm a new member and registered about an hour as i'm deparately trying to find answers.

Question Wow,confusing alright...

I think the best and most obvious thing to do, would be to visit the graves in real time (you should probably take that white candle with you). It might also help if you try to gather more information on the people who own this place now, if you don't know them already...maybe the graves were disturbed in some way, or maybe they (your grand parents and cousin) just need to connect with you, it would also be a nice gesture to clean the graves up a bit and put down some fresh flowers, maybe your gran had a favorite flower?? As for meanings of the goats and happy people...sorry. I hope helped, even just a little bit...

Hello Jitkinge,

The best guidance your dream seems to offer is the depiction of what it is you are trying to accomplish when you call upon your ancestors. Calling upon your ancestors for guidance and support in your life is represented in your dream by the attempt to find and visit their resting place. The animals and people are how you perceive the falses, deceptive, or misperceived social influences that impede your efforts. The perception of not having enough time to find what you seek in the dream represents your impatience. The candle describes the sliver of insight that should light your path but have not yet attained. The perception of your ancestors in the dream as departed may suggest that the guidance and support you seek should be sought through a living source. As the one who should be holding a candle in honor of your ancestors, you are that living source of the guidance and support you seek. In other words, what you need you already possess within yourself--within you is the wisdom of your ancestors. I hope this helps.

Where do I add my dream on this thing?

So, if you have questions about the general nature of dreams and dreaming or have theories you'd like to explore, I invite you to do so here in discussion with me. I welcome your thoughts.

I have a question. Is it normal to have four dreams in one night? That happened to me recently....
.... also can you interpret a dream for me....
I have a recurring nightmare that happens at random times. It always starts out as there is nothing around me and I am lying down. I try to get up and move but I am unable to. I try screaming for some one to come and help me but no one comes. During this dream I am aware that I am a sleep and I try to wake myself and when I do finally wake up my body is stiff and I am afraid to go back to sleep.
I have had this nightmare for along time now and i never now when it will pop back up.... because of the nightmare i am now afraid of being paralyzed and alone

i think some dreams are our inner thoughts or needs. if we want some thing very bad and worry about it we might have a dream about it. maybe some forgotten past.

There is no limit to the number of dreams we might experience during the sleep process. It is likely we all experience a multiple number of dreams but only remember one or two. Dreams are difficult to remember because of the way our brain evolved the use of memory.

Sleep paralysis dreams are very common occurrences and are nothing to be alarmed about. These dreams usually arise as indications of the way our fears paralyze or immobilize our ability to think and act freely; i.e., the way we are mentally and emotionally paralyzed by our fears and worries. These dreams are often a result of our stressful life experiences and suggest the way calm, clear-headed thinking clears our perspective. I hope this helps.

How did our memory evolve can you expand on this
