Hello numbersdude,
Dream content has a way of representing how we may be engaging our life experiences. It could be that your dream suggests how you perceive yourself as being in but not of some circumstance or condition suggested by your dream's scenario. This suggest a kind of detachment you may feel about some aspect of your life experience. I hope this helps.

Hello chickenduck,
If it is true that you had a dream before ever becoming acquainted with your friend, that dream may have been a sort of meeting of the minds in advance of your encounter. Perhaps precognitive, telepathic, or an extraordinary demonstration of why you should continue to pursue a study of dreams and dreaming. I hope this helps.

Hello,
I have recently joined this site to see if anyone could help me understand what my recuring dreams mean. I keep dreaming about being bitten by animals every couple of nites and i am finding it quite strange. In the first dream i was bitten by a white mouse. The second dream i was bitten by a dog (alsation) The third dream i had last nite and i was bitten by a cat. All the animals were extremly aggresive and i there was a lot of strugle. Could anyone help interpret this? Thank you |

Hello hayley*1,
Very often animal imagery suggests the baser, instinctual aspects of human nature. In your dream, these animals could suggest how you may have surrendered to some baser aspect of your nature. From another perspective, these animals could represent how you perceive the base behaviors of others towards you. The specific meaning each dream might suggest depends on the content of each. I hope this helps.

Dreams can be anything from a cryptic message/warning to just the rest of your thoughts for the day put into an act. Only the dreamer can tell when his dream actually means something. Sometimes the hardest thing to admit is that your dream doesn't mean anything. Just because you murdered a shopkeeper doesn't mean it has to have significance. Of course it may mean several things but there is always the chance that it means nothing.

Your dreams mean that something is happening in your sleep that causes pain. Next time you wake up from oneof the dreams where something attacks you, examine your body and try to see or feel where the pain is. Your subconscious creates these dreams to wake you up. There is a physical reason for it. It may be trivial like an itch or an irritation. Cheers Wolfjk

I do believe in the spiritual aspect to life and its connection to our dreams. But cannot see any connection to religion. I guess this has got you confused? We best not discuss it otherwise it will detract from the thread. In principle we agree, while in the detail we differ.

well i dont know exactly what a lucid dream is i have tried doing research and i just dont get it.
and dreams confuse me.... i have been trying to learn what they mean and for the most part i feel like they never mean what i think they are supposed to. i have always felt that dream are and escape for emotions you dont allow yourself to feel during they day. and you express and explore those is different ways while you sleep. |
