Alright, I wanna get your feedback on this...
I go to this person every year, I was impressed the first time I went and so yeah. Very accurate with everything. But this time I went, he told me I had negative energy around me, and that it needed to be cleaned up. He said it affects health too. His "fix" for this he says, is 600 dollars, and would help protect me as well as with the guy I like... Obviously I said I'de think about it. My friend has been seeing him more than me and has tried his "fix" and apparently it works, but I don't even know what the hell I'm fixing!!! Anyway, I spoke to a few of my more intuitive friends and they told me I am fine, just a tad dusty aura. So I don't know what to think of all this...I decided to go somewhere get my aura cleaned and I got this protection thingy, but I'm not sure if they have started the "clean up" or not yet. Alot less money too. Anyway, am I crazy, what would you do, ect... |

It is never necessary for you to give away any part of yourself in order to gain health, protection or knowledge.
Are there things in life you don't know about? Sure, absolutely. But before you start exploring them, you might want to consider this input, from a very wise, creative and loving being who recently walked the earth: "The most important decision you have to make is whether you live in a hostile or friendly universe." ~ Albert Einstein This guy is first initiating you into his view of life, which is that we all live in a hostile universe... careful. There's no need to buy into such a view. By believing him, this is how you give over a part of yourself. And then... as if that wasn't enough, he needs you then to give him money so he can work his magic... that magic being to make you dependent on his view, his expertise, his understanding of you... and he does this by cutting you off at the knees regarding your own confidence in knowing who you are and how you're doing, thereafter. Do you really want to give over to that? Do you not find yourself capable of determining your own reality for yourself? Are you aware you have all you need to navigate your life in a safe, healthy and loving way by going inward, to your own heart and using your own mind? Learn to trust yourself, it's the best investment of your time, energy, effort and money you'll ever make. If you really want to explore life at new levels... your beingness is the template for what you see around you. Explore you. Your own fears, feelings, wisdom, creativity... All you ever need to know will come from that process. Best to you! Sowelu

You got excellent advice from Sowelu. I hope you take good heed of of it. I think people who claim to be psychic are either deluding themselves or are out to deceive. They prey on the frailties of of ordinary folk. I dont think you will get much for your $600 dollars! Quote:

I'll do you now Sowelu for only $550 and it's guaranteed to work and I too am psychic and a healer. You will recall the biblical tale when the ill woman broke out from the crowd and touched Jesus's robe then exclaimed that she had been cured; do you recall the good shepherd's remark? It went something like this (depending on what edition you read, of course) "Thy faith is within thyself"! Not in any God nor in Jesus but it came from her own belief which today we call the placebo-effect and this Yogi your seeing seems to be a past-master at this. (Incidentally, I am not religious but then one does not throw out the baby with the bathwater)! Send me $550 and I send you some healing thoughts and if they don't work then you are probably very ill but, no returns!

Whoa!!! Red Flag. If he/she was truely a good person, and you truely had this negative energy that apparently you weren't aware of, he/she wouldn't charge you extra to be rid of it. The ability to do so would be enough. That's my feeling, anyway. This kind of stuff really makes me mad.
Did your friend know about her "negative energy"? How does she know it is gone? on another note.... I went to a psychic in 1990, and it was somewhat accurate, though on my way out, he stopped me and thought for a few seconds, then he told me that I would have neurological problems, but not life threatening. in 2003, I was diagnosed with MS. |

I just wanted to mention one more bit that I feel is important... take or leave, of course.
Though my original post likely seemed stern and perhaps like a shake on the shoulders to wake up to a truth... doesn't mean I had any intention of casting aspersions on the psychic you saw. Just because that psychic has a belief structure that says that you can be plagued by negative energies that are not your own (not something I invest any belief in personally), and has a system of belief that serves to "remove" these energies (thereby acting as a savior to others -- also something I don't invest faith in personally -- as mentioned already, we all have the ability to heal/cure/save/love/harm ourselves within us. It comes from nowhere else, no matter how it looks... ever)... doesn't make him evil or someone to be scared of or anything of that sort. None of it necessarily means the psychic is a "bad" person or even deliberately trying to cause you any harm. Please don't use your own growing awareness to judge others. The more we understand how these things happen by experiencing our own precarious moments, we see just how it happens to others, as well. And with that experience and awareness, the more compassionate we become if we choose. It's very easy to get confused in this world, about anything, frankly. The thing is... many people buy into beliefs because at a crucial moment in their life, someone around them believed something that seemed true and offered that belief in the hopes of helping, usually. With no other input, the belief is accepted as true. Then life begins to conform to that belief (because that's how this world works, btw), and it seems the proof is everywhere. Most people are actually well intentioned at heart. And so it is often with very good intentions that any of us wish to "help others" by sharing what we've learned. It's just that so often none of us has any idea that the beliefs we're sharing (to "help" another) are actually based in fear and false ideas. Again... reason to learn to trust yourself. No one can ever help you better than you can help yourself. And the best "services" out there are those that teach you how to do just that, by reminding you to look inward, encouraging you to find your own power and believe in yourself. *off soapbox* :P Blessings! Sowelu

You believe in yourself but also get scared very easily? Could there be a contradiction here?

Well I do believe in psychic things yet I also doubt psychics. I agree with jennings...
The mind is vrey suggestive. If we truly believe then you may gain a positive influence from this. But only because your belief produces this. Try to be your own healer. Try to tap into your own resources. Save ytour dollars for something else. Or pay him in psychic doillars lol ------------------------ Dreams seem to be linked to brain functions. The dream mind is a conceptual one in that it links to higher thinking. Ideas of an intellectual nature come from the dream mind. But emotional feelings are also part of our higher thinking. They too are quite sophisticated by nature. Dreams compare one thing to another. Dreams also tend to use any symbol in as deeper a way as they can. Therefor a war will hardly ever represent some actual war but will rather represent some symbolic battle within your mind or some relationship that is verging on warfare.
