Past Life Memories

My dream in 18th century is about my birth country's history. In my dream I was about to be raped by soldiers some spoke spanish/filipino language. When I woke up I knew it' really happened in our country. The ancient time in China I didn't know anybody in my dream. Before my first poetry book was published I dreamt of a little girl writing a book. Someone in poets.com when she read my poem about this dream she said that this little girl could be me and this will do with my future.

From you first Post it reminds me of my Uncles Similar near death experience. He was in a Car accident on the highway & had died. He went to the hospital when one of the Doctors said,"Let him go, he's not going to make it." Another Doctor was holding his Heart in his hands trying to pump in saying,"No, I can feel him coming back!" Then my uncle was revived.

He said while he died he was able to see; Heaven, Hell, Parallel Universes, different dimensions, and Earth....All at the Same Time!!!! He said Hell, was Pitch Black, empty, & couldn't see anything.
He said while in Heaven he saw,"Every Single Ancestor"...and he knew them all some how, But Never met them. They all greeted each other like they haven't seen each other in awhile, even though he never met them in life. He said, he was sooo happy & felt No pain.

He said, 2 Angles where deciding his Fate...& speaking to God about it. He said,"No one ever Actually sees God." So the Angels spoke to him, but through their mind they where having conversation. They told him,"Remember when you did or said this.....?" He said they where deciding where to put him by the Small, little actions he did in life. For example, If your Giving in Nature; like if you have a last piece of Cake...that you really want, but instead give it to the Person next to you.

Finally, they said he could go to Heaven if he wanted...but he had a Choice to make: Either stay in Heaven or go back to Earth. He saw that his youngest daughter had Pneumonia, and was really sick. He knew that his daughter really Needed him. He said,"It was really Difficult to go back, but I had to be their for her." Also, during this his Daughter told her mom (My Aunt) that "her father would be Okay" My aunt said,"How do you know...not believing her." She said,"because Jesus told me so."She said Jesus was by her bedside & telling her everything was going to be okay, including her father.

He also mentioned that while this happened he had the Pope & many others Praying for him. Before he was revived he said that the Angel said," You can tell as many people who are willing to listen & believe." This is one reason why Im posting this....because I tried once already & I almost finished when I hit a button by accident & it DELETED!

I believe God, and I believe the bible,...but I do think their is more then the Human mind can Comprehend. I believe there is a reason or Connection to Everything.....we just Dismiss it because we Cant understand it. Also, my Uncle has had several Surgeries afterwards.

Interesting Hazelframe; it can be deduced from your post that you are of the Roman church's faith which probably accounts for the difference in the experiences.

It should be added, regarding my own posts, that the communication of my late wife and subsequently of my daughter were real life experiences rather than dreams.

"There was another dream that occurred later in life with the similar theme but I cannot recall my age; what I can say is that on this occasion I seemed to have passed-over and joined, not my secular family, but a spiritual family whom I recognised. It seemed that we had recollections of past lives and that we occasionally met each other on the secular plain without knowing it."


ALSO, I wouldn't consider-Death- to be a dream....but something more profound.

My own experience lends support to what you have said about having a spiritual family; I call them 'my friends'.

Yes, I have. My mother is a psychologist and taught me from a young age to lucid dream when I had nightmares. As a result, throughout my life I have periods where I pay attention to my dreams and periods where I don't.

Because I remember them so vividly, over time I realized some were a lot different than others, and I think these are past life dreams. The feeling and surroundings are always so, I don't know-- foriegn- and just WEIRD. The ones that stand out the most are when I have met new people in my life, and I will have these nightmarish dreams where a person who is so insignificant in my waking life is so integral and known in the dream state.

These are WAY more symbolic and impossible for me to interpret, where usually I can get some idea of what is behind a dream. And these people always turn out to have a serious role in my waking life. It sounds so bizarre, but it happens...it's happened, I don't know-- six or eight times.

Anyway, the gist of it is, when I have these dreams now, I've learned to pay extra special attention to those people in my waking life. I figure they are some kind of message or alert from my subconsious.

There was one in particular that had no one but me in it and I cannot forget. It was sunny, I was in a different country, it felt ancient, and I was doing something with ropes...and i had a tattoo on my left hand. I drew the tattoo in my journal--i was young-this was 15+ yrs ago, and I still look for that tattoo symbol on the internet sometimes. I've never found it. I'm glad I drew it down! It is a triangle with it's point upwards and three birds or doves within it.

The upward triangle traditionally is supposed to represent aspiration, rising force, and the male principal. The three doves are of Noah, David and Jesus. Noah representing hope, David, the mighty hand and, Jesus, salvation, so it sounds as if the sign may have religious connotations. I suspect, however, that the triangle in your dream, at the stage to life when it occurred, may possibly be a phallic symbol and the three doves possibly the Three Graces of beauty, youth, and elegance, but, it is only a guess.

Jennings, I like the way you think, but I believe there is a little more to it. The birds were not rendered in any way I had seen before in church or in society. The shape of the birds was not modern, the closest resemblance I've found was in south american jewelry. I do think there is something religious about the symbol, triangles and birds all point in that dierction. It's fascinating to me. I'd like to hear more about Noah David and Jesus trinity from you, because that is one trinity I've never heard of.
