General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office.

Default Ummm Hi...

I'm new here and a friend noticed how i was having reocurring nightmares evertime I tried to sleep so I stopped sleeping....That didn't work so I have gone back to sleeping but not as much and I'm having the same nightmares yet again...What do I do?
Everytime I go to sleep, I toss and turn so much I wake up even more tired then I was when before I tried to sleep

Hi,
Banish your friend! You need the sleep, even if you tooss and turn all night! If you have a buisy life, psycological issues with your workmates friends, or at college, it is likely to effect your sleep for atime. Moral dilemmas are the worse for making you toss andturn at night. You can just ignore them as happens in a normal course of sleep. Some people are born with the condition.
If you written down the text of some of your dreams, I or other people on here could have given you an indication of what is causing the dreams.
You should not worry! and your friend just have to live with it!
Cheers Wolfjk

Join the company of my wife who too suffers in a similar manner. Sadly, she had a very traumatic life prior to our meeting which she seems unable to forget and, of course, its memory keeps regurgitating when she is asleep. She is also very restless during her wakening hours and quite nervous but I care about her deeply and love her to bits. I like to think it helps but, regretfully, the applied TLC does not heal nor eliminate those past memories.

What a sweet husband you are Jennings!

I have had similar feelings, Wolf. Although, not as extreme. Do you think you could be sufferering with anxiety? Sometimes I think that is my problem. It might be a good idea to find out.
