Some kind of spirit in House?

Can anyone tell me how I can tell if there is a sperit in my house? I'm serious. I would like to know. I think that there's a spirit in my house and I think that it is trying to make itself known. If there is a spirit in my house I have a feeling I know who it is but I want to know how to tell first. So if anyone can tell me or refer me to someone who can help me out that would be great.

Try to forget all about what is religious (that should 'ruffle a few feathers') and consider the following. On this emaculate conception known as the planet World and our life which thrives on it possibly in a symbiotic-like manner, that there may also exist a spiritual aspect to life's existence but one that is, so far (except on an individual basis) unquantifiable and that it exists of different planes (at least two). Then try to imagine one of those planes being like an intermediate feature, a kind of 'threshold guardian' established between the secular and spiritual aspects to life.

Let us say that on this intermediate plane each of us has friends almost as if we belong to a spiritual family whose task is almost (but not quite) akin to that of 'guardian angels' (possibly not the best descriptive term to use). Those friends of ours remain on this intermediate plane until each of us rejoins them when we then move forward collectively to the next spiritual level for what purpose (to be re-cycled) who can possibly say?

Try too to recognise that the concept of a God figure is too incomprehensible for us to grasp but that we are certainly part and affected by a great divine plan almost like being onboard a cruise liner where we cannot see who is steering the vessel.

In this scenario it is just possible that our friends could be the ones who provide (or choose not to) our spiritual help and it may possibly be that we should seek our guidance from those friends of ours (rather than ignoring and going above their authority and so usurping their position). What if it was simple just to speak to them in the same manner that we do with any friend; wouldn't life be much simpler and more easily comprehensible. Maybe the principal purpose of our existence is simply to be witnesses to this emaculate and unique conception of life. If we can conceive of this why then should there not exist some form of communication between the secular life and this intermediate spiritual aspect? There certainly appears to be barriers as to how we communicate as it is clearly not essential to do so and the task of each of us is to grasp how communication could occur. Some are totally disinterested which is their choice but others are seekers and when they contemplate about their own existence they begin to recognise that, indeed, communication is occurring and re-occurring but it is not always readily recognised nor appreciated.

Why should communication exist? Who knows; but I have reservations that it is of evil intent; I believe that it is benign and well intentioned; any evil I would suggest exists only in our own misguided misconceptions.

To adequately answer your question is a 'tall order' and if you would like to know how to recognise the existence of other entities then try to explain how you know that spirits are near, or with you.

Well, first of all, things fall off of shelves like plants. I was in the living roo watching TV when a plant in the front room was pushed off of it's stand. It could NOT have fallen off because the plant is too high off the ground, I was the only person in the house with the animals (which none of them could reach the plant because it it to high for them to reach.) and there was no indication for it to have fallen on it's own.

I was the only person in the house again, my father was in Mexico for a race, I was in bed. It was about 11:30 pm or 12:00 am when all of a sudden it sounded like someone throwing one of our utencils in the sink. We have a metle sink and metal utencils. There were no silverwear in the sink because I had put them all in the dishwasher, when I went to look at what it was, there was a fork in the sink.

Just last week, my father, his fieancee, and I were in the front room playing pool when again, a for was thrown into the sink. Silverwear again was in dishwasher and there were 3 froks in the sink, all on the same side. When I went to look, there were 2 forks on one side and 1 fork on the other side of the sink.

I don't think that this "spirit" is here to hurt us. In fact if it is a spirit, I think that it's my mother. This is a brand new house. We watched it being built, we are the only owners, and there are still houses being built around us. We have lived in the house for 2 years. We lived here for 7 months before we lost my mother to cancer. So I think that if it is a sperit, then she would be the one.

Depending upon one's beliefs when we pass our souls are sent onto another plane of existance. Some souls get stuck for different reasons; maybe they don't know they are dead...maybe they have unfinished business.

Since you say that no harm is coming to you or anyone you love, then I wouldn't worry. Some are playful and others just want to be acknowledged. Acknowledge their presence and send them into the light. Let them know that their is peace and happiness in the light and leave it at that.

Once you have done that you can neutralize your house by purchasing a sage smudge and burning it and walking it throughout your house. In addition, you can obtain holy water from you nearest Catholic church or purchase it online if you feel silly and dilute some in a water bottle and spray that through out your house as well. Both of those neutralize the energy in your home and you can also run the smoke of the sage around your own body to clear your own energy of any attachments. If you are religious you can have a priest come over and have you house blessed to and this should resolve the prescence of any entities or spirits that are residing in your home.

I believe in spiritual visitors and do this atleast once a month in my own home.

I am Christian. So I do believe that there are sperits. Not all are good though. This one seems to be friendly. Like I said, I believe that it's my mother. How can I show them the light?

Okay, I experience similarities but whenever there is those peculiar sounds there is never any object nearby to cause them. They have been part of my life for as far back as I can recall. I also have other extrasensory experiences but there is never any connection between those and religion which frankly serves only to mislead and confuse. It is difficult to say why those features should occur and my only guess is that we are being reminded of their (the spirits) existence. Communication can and does occur and it can be induced. Psychologists (those without knowledge) attempt to convince us that it is some kind of figment of the mind but that's 'bull'! Those are individual experiences that cannot be quantified which researchers find frustrating but this inability does not deny the existence of this phenomenon.

Briefly, those experiences of yours are not unique, they do occur in the lives of others but I would doubt if it is connected to your mother's passing. There is a more advanced spiritual plane where I suspect your mother has moved. I subscribed to the general thrust of jn_beel's beliefs (above); it is only in the minor detail that we differ.

Should I let it be? Should I let it roam my house?

I have never had a bad experience except on two occasions when I became apprehensive of what was happening and in each incident the situation ceased and never returned. It does seem that if one is afraid you will not be troubled by them. Living with this phenomenon has been part of my life and I find it fascinating so I would allow it to be. If at any time you become afraid it most likely won't trouble you further.

I am now into my 9th year partnership with my second wife having lost my first wife to BC 10 years ago. My first wife and I shared those experiences in common with each other and today my second wife shares many of those experiences. Around 4 years ago while lying in bed relaxing, having just retired, the paw pressure of a cat walking across the foot of the bedclothes was so distinct that it could have been a real-life animal except that we do not have a cat. I thought I was probably the only one experiencing this but my wife lept from the bed alarmed, shouting to me there's a cat on the bed. She switched on the room light and searched the room and beneath the bed to no avail. I had to explain to her that it was only one of our spiritual friends. It took her a little time thereafter to relax and go to sleep. My entire life has been peppered with such incidences that I have difficulty in recalling some of the memories. What one has to live with is that no one believes those tales so one learns to keep them to one's self. What surprises me is that seldom does one find others who are similarly affected. Enjoy them while you may.

Hi you asked in your first post how to find out if this spirit is your mother, simply ask out loud the next time something happens, ask that she leave you a sign if it is indeed her..........something that you associate with her, a flower, perfume smell, ..........
Since the house has just been built, check (through the library or local paper) to see what was there before it was built, perhaps the ground was disturbed and needs to be cleansed to allow this spirit to rest again.
