Class Assignment

I am required to post my dream in a discussion board for a class. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

I drive up to the school parking lot in my truck. I get out and this older guy (who looks like Archie Bunker) comes up to me. He calmly says, "Give me yours stuff." I tell him that I have nothing to give him. He goes through my purse and tries to take my license. I tell him that I need it to get home. He doesn't take it. I have no cash. He asks for my cell, which is in my pocket. I tell him repeatidly that I will cancel my service. He takes it. He gets out of the driver's seat and leaves. I decide to move my truck so that he won't steal or harm it while I'm in class. I see him drive away in an old, white station wagon and glare at me as he drives by. I back up and stall my truck.

I am not sure how you felt during this dream but with moving your truck at the end unsuccessfully maybe a feeling of escape from a potentially threatening situation or trying to be prepaired for it. Your license is your idenity he wanted it. Who does he represent? Your cell phone is a form of communicating and he took that from you although you knew it would only be a minor set back because you could turn it off. His car was memorable. I don't know meanings with out looking them up but I try to remember my feelings during the dream and what was familar with each image. Then I look up specific images. Ex- White, car, older man, cell or phone, ID, driving, stalling. Hope it helps

Hi, Kimster579. You are incontrol of your life up to certain pointe. (driving yourself). School or learning center represents knowledge and wisdom, this also represents wealth and value to me as I base most my interpratations on the bible, Job 28:28 ...fear of the LORD that is wisdom and to depart from evil is understanding while Proverbs chapter 3:13 is a great refrence pointe on wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. It talks about how nothing can compare to her, more precious than rubies, gold, etc. . O.K. back to your interp: Someone calmly taking items from you; phone=(comunication device), drivers liscence=(who you are), and is in your truck in the driver seat(tryning to control or dictate your life), shows that you will meet some resistance in your quest for learning and in life, this is common. Here it shows you are somewhat resistant to give up, haggling over phone, licence, and continuing to finish your school day. That you are doing these things shows that you take your education seriuosly and that you can and will overcome obsticales in your path.
