| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

I'm not one of those crazy pet people who treat their pets as human infants. Perhaps that's why I've never thought about my cat having dreams or dreaming...that is until a few evenings ago, when I witnessed my cat having a nightmare.
I was sitting next to my bed in a computer chair. My laptop, books and papers were scattered all over my bed as I was preparing for a presentation. My cat, Helen, was soundly sleeping a few feet away, tucked into my teddy bear. All of a sudden she startled up with a shriek. She looked around in terror, leaped across my papers and tucked herself away on my lap - periodically nudging me with her head to be comforted. Helen NEVER sits in my lap. She'll curl up next to me on the couch or the bed, but never in my lap. How funny is that? Go figure, my cat had a nightmare! |

Oh my pets have had nightmares. I started out pit from a dream and she came unglued, never seen her like that. Perhaps your cat dreamt of falling into a fish tank with cat eating fish or possibly you threw her out never to love her again.

Oh, that's terrible. My poor kitty. It was funny until you put that spin on it.
