There was three men and myself and another man walked up and said this is for you and handed me a fish that weighed about 40 pounds was still alive like it was breathing air. The color was like an oreintal fish (Carp) all different with golds blues pinks oranges beautiful.

Usually a fish in a dream symbolizes some normally deeply unconscious aspect of the dreamer (deep in the water). Here, an apparently unknown man (possibly another part of yourself) has caused this fish to be conscious and available to look at (caught it).

However, since it is “Oriental”, this may add to the idea that what it symbolizes could be very “foreign” and far from your normal conscious outlook in some way. Therefore although it is fascinating and beautiful, it might be “too much to swallow” all at once (40 lbs).
