Negative Halo Effect

I'm new to this community and it's just occurred to me my chosen user name may have created a Negative Halo Effect which may make all you good people wary of me.

I want to reassure you the name is nothing sordid. I've chosen it because it's lyrics in a song, "Chains" by Tina Arena which is a song about a relationship. In my case, "I'm in Chains" is how I view my relationship with my mother. It just wouldn't have sounded right choosing a user name: "I'm still tethered to my mother's apron strings and she keeps pulling them tight."

So, all is well - I'm not some weirdo - come and say hello! Don't be shy!
