New to the community

Well, I'm new here. Hmm... I suppose I should start with a "Hello", eh? Well, hello!

In general, I'm a bit new to the idea of dream interpretation, but my most recent dream has pushed me to start trying to figure out what all these dreams I've been having lately mean. Some have been good dreams, others have been downright disturbing, leaving me feeling drained and unsure of what just happened, much less why I dreamt it.


I hope that by being a part of the community here, I can learn a bit about myself through my own dreams and other's dreams as well.

I'm 18, out of work, but I aspire to be a veterinarian, or some specialization of the sort. Right now, our living situation isn't amazing, living with my mother's boyfriend and his two sons. His mother just died in surgery for lung cancer (which makes me wonder if I'm having any dreams because of this? I wasn't amazingly close to her, but I certainly wasn't emotionally separated.)

I have two cats, and I enjoy reading history books and playing video games (you know, the typical guy thing: blowing stuff up and such, the occasional MMO or racing game here and there)

I'm autistic, more specifically, I have Asperger's Syndrome. I harbor a lot of social anxiety, resulting in my staying in my room more than going places and interacting with people. My sense of humor tends to be sarcastic or dark, because it helps me cope with some of my social anxiety in certain situations for some reason or another. I'm trying to learn more about myself, trying to learn to cope with my anxiety and better myself through it.
