Why do you think people create numerous vivid images in their mind while sleeping? Hence, dreams/nightmares.
People, even animals, may believe they have "dreamless sleep." But really, they still encounter over 100 dreams in one night, remembering up to 3 of those dreams because they wake up with what is left in their mind. So tell me, why do these occur, and what re they...really? ![]() |

Since you are curious about dreams, I can give you my opinion and what I know about dreams. Think what may happen in an 8 hour stretch while you sleep tight and out to this world! We all need a guardian angel to keep us from harm and we need someone or something to wake us! Dreams are a nocturnal control system tha look after us while we sleep, and wake us when it is necessary to get up. However you will not get the same answer from everybody. In fact the the scientists and dream researchers can't agre between themselves. I have just been taking part in ciber conference on dreams and the ignorance was so dense you could cut it with a blunt knife! Cheers Wolfjk
