wil i go to hell?

well this is crazy when i was 4yrs old i had a crazy dream that i was lying in bed i could see my self then i could smell smoke, i was awakend in my dream because i was being pulled to the end of my bed by this huge hand that had long fingernails it looked like the hand of a demond. i could see fire blazing up from within a huge hole in my floor, i was kicking and screaming, then all these miniture demonds popped up out of the hole they had daggers and pitchforks they were biting and clawing me helping the huge hand to push me in to the hole, then i wake up i also had this same exact dream when i was 18. can any one tell me what it means?

I can't really tell you what it means since iam new to this stuff..But maybe when you could see your self in the dream.It was probally because you were sleeping on your back or sleeping with your hands on your chest.Usually when your body is asleep on your back or front side you have scary dreams that try to wake you up.Because your body wasn't in a comfortable position.

First, how did you pick your user name? I love it! I just wrote an essay on the firefairy. It will publish to my Airings column on or at mythopoetry.com this Aug 31st. Such 'fire' belongs not to hell but, as Heraclitus said, to the logos in the image springing from the unconscious "soul"... THAT IS. It is you in your deepest being-so; that side of you, fairy-like. How can that be evil? What is so evil is how something imaginal gets posited as something material and rational and only this meaning, wrongly so.

Somewhere in your dream-thinking a side with in-sides that believes in the world of its images (these images dwell in the very substances or stuff of the world itself) has been forgotten; repressed, supressed and/or oppressed aspects, broken bits, shards fragment and fall into the unknowing gap. A burning fire sends up images and when images are ignored the depths send scarier images to get you to "wake-up" (in more than just the way Wolfjik is often fond of telling).

The monsters and demons of our fairy tales, the angels and devils of our monoTHEisms, the anima(l) powers are always in movement shaping and reshaping the image in the logos (fire) where the late, great philosopher of both the imagination and reason, Gaston Bachelard in "A Poetics of Reverie" remarks, "The pure memory has no date; it has a season." (p116). I believe the biblical book, Ecclesiastes also says "to every thing a season; a time to every purpose unto heaven." (not hell) The foundation of psyche is poetic mind in bricolage not demonic mind, no matter what 'hell' is pictured.

I cannot ever say I "know" what a dream-logic "means" to say. I can only re-imagine through the phenomena of the dream image or images and, imagine, too. There are those who, like me, play the image. "Stay close to the image" that is what they say. These sayers and tenders of dreams practice a perspective that is archetypal. Such perspective turns and re-turns to images as speaking themselves and not some 'thing'.

When you get the hang of this way of thinking about images (dream images), you begin to understand the nature of the meaning of the dream-idea 'killing' refers to is a taking on of 'ghost-form', an as-if and a personified thought or thinking; which is to say no "thing" but a corpus of be-ing...being-so as the ones inside you say they really are and freely dwell.

And so, in your dreams you re-visit [no(w)here] that is this dream space and you re-new again with your kindred-kinds which have no other existence anywhere but right where such 'things' as fairies alight and are a kind of light shining you home.

Hi Firefairy,
I think only those who tell stories of hell and religion to a four year old will go to hell!
I agree with moonguard about your sleeping position causing the dream, however the the dream was also influenced by the stupid story of hell fire that one of the religious fanatics around you related.
Hell is created by the ignorant and is here on earth not another place.

If you think about it, if God or whatever have you out there is loving and created us- why would it send you an awful dream like that to get you paranoid?? If you ask me, I think it was probably your imagination from a movie maybe you saw or some other entity trying to scare you!

Don't be afraid though, I truly have faith that things work out for good people. I don't know you but because your worried over a dream like that, tells you have a good conscience.

Another funny thing that coincides with this is that my priest at a catholic church i go to, actually said that its not only catholics or christians that go to heaven, i love this guy, he actually said he has NO CLUE and thats what they should say, but that kingdom of heaven is open to all and that includes jews, muslims and hindus, etc. he also stated its all up to the One who created us. So if anyone priest or minister, saint, etc. tries to tell people they are going to heaven or hell, don't believe it for a second, you know only the Creator knows!

When I was about 10, I dreamnt that I had awoken during the night. I felt something tug at the bottom of my blanket. I uncovered my legs to see If there was something at the bed end and suddenly I saw a hand place itself on the edge of the bed. It was very dark and I couldn't see anything in the room. Another hand grabbed the filter sheet next to my leg and then a head began appearing from the edge of the bed. It began pulling itself over the bed and on top of me. (It looked like the crazy girl from the ring) It felt very cold. And It began grabbing my legs and using them to climb out of the darkness. But then it got too agressive and began clawing away. I began screaming. I wake up very scared....

Thought I share cause your dream reminded me of this one.

I dont know if anyone's said this before, but those of us who grew up in a very religious house that had a -lot- of emphasis on hell instead of a loving, father figure god have had dreams like that. When you were four, it is very possible that too much hell talk might have just scared you that much. When I was little I had dreams about devils and demons all the time and I dont believe I'm going to hell now. Then again I also dont believe in hell anymore either.

Yes, there is a hell. The devil tricked me into thinking there is no hell, but yes there is. Just hours ago, the devil was laughing at me, he was saying something like 'i have such and such in hell with me' but he did not clearly state who and he did not clearly state the entire sentence, now he was and has been trying to scare me. he is scary but i pray to Jesus Christ, God's only son to protect me, and also to Mary to pray for me in Heaven, and many many saints, I need all the help I can get.


The point is: pills will never help us see what is beyond our senses.

You have to PRAY, prayer is the best weapon against the devil and any other minion. I know this because when I was weak and stopped praying, that's when the devil laughed at me. God is angry at the devil and He knows everything.

Please pray to God, ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and make things right.

i dont know what this means but i do know one thing. You will now go to hell. if you accept jesus as your savoir you will not go to hell. Dreams like that have nothing to do with where you go when you die.
