Shapeshifting in Dream

I had a dream probably about a week ago that's been on my mind. Maybe someone has experience with these types of dreams.

I remember being in my house and it was summer evening and the house was dank and i even remember is being a sepia tone everywhere i looked. I was along and walked into the kitchen... i saw a WHITE BIRD in the cubbard looking down at me... i put my palm up towards the bird and it flew straight into my hand as if i had the bird on a pull string. i opened my palm and i noticed the White Bird in detail is was very little and have red blue and yellow feathers popping out from behind it's eyes and the feathers were spikey. I went into the living room to show my mother(who has been sick recently). I sat the bird in front of both of us and it shape shifted into a adult furry grey cat. I became frightened and asked my mother if she saw the bird turn into a cat she said yes and then i asked if it was real. I picked up the cat and was moving it around as it kept shifting into other cats and the same white bird. The bird was not threatening but the cat had human features and displayed frightening faces as if it knew something about me or something that was going to happen. Very Coy.

A white bird means a beautiful girl, its yellow featheres mean she has kind of illness.
A cat means a kind woman or a thief person,
She ( the cat) sdoesn't like the girl.
