Maggots bestow invisibility.

I was with my family, (in real life I am married with no kids) but in this dream I had a family with a couple of kids and we were traveling. We stoped at this motel, it was very dark, very generally creepy in the first place, and the motel was one of those old 60's one level places somewhere in Nevada or california, it was desert like but with some tall trees. After every one settled in I decided to go for a walk behind the motel. There was a dirt path with several tall trees around it, suddenly it was very poorly lit, and I couldn't see the path in front of me very well but I noticed I stepped on something. The canopy above however was lit by the moon and I noticed a body was being hung from the branches so that it hung out in the path. There was no head however, the rope was secured tightly around the severed neck. I panicked and ran back to my family, nearly tripping over myself, after getting everybody in the vehicle and hauling it out of there we came upon another facility, but it was not much further down the way, everybody was talking about how tired they were, and how they just wanted to stop, I was in shock that nobody understood the need to put distance between us and this other place, and to top it off this place looked even creepier. We ended up going inside, I called the police but only reached somebody that was laughing when they picked up.

So that dream faded off and next I was hiding in some bushes, I was part of some what appeared to be native american tribe. Some bikers showed up at this gas station looking place, it was very dark again, and the chief handed me a maggot, it looked more like a centipede, but everybody in the dream referred to it by words, that it was a maggot. I held it in my hand and could feel it moving around but when I focused, the whole group became invisible.

At one point I had to go into the compound, somewhere inside, (it ended up being a huge old house) I met this girl that was part of their group and she was leading me to where I needed to go. (never knew where that was) but at various times I would hold the maggot in my hands and focus, sometimes I wouldn't be able to become invisible fast enough, and would panic, but eventually it would be okay. At one point she led me over to a couch where she was going to talk to me about something, but then a bunch of the biker guys started coming over, so I started to go stealth mode again. I realized I was completely invisible. all the bikers were standing around me looking down and one of them said, "he thinks those maggots make him invisible" and I looked around and realized I was just sitting on this couch. I decided to get up and leave... and take my maggot, but it had multiplied in numbers there was now three of them. When I tried to get the three they became 6, and so forth... and that's the last I remember. Anybody got any ideas?

I think you were samwhat indisposed in this dream. In the first part you had difficulty seeing. This condition indicates that you were feeling dizzy and were probably affected either by alcohol, drugs, or had food poisoning. My guess ie that you eaten something before sleep that caused some bad stomach ache and headache at the same time.
The maggot or centipede indicates that you felt ready to throw up any minute in this sleep. The idea of invisibility in the dream refers to you drifting in and out of consciousness. I wonder how you felt when the dream woke you with the idea of the maggots multiplying? This is a classic case of waking up and just having enough time to be sick in the toilet pan. I had the experience!
