what's this dream about???

Ok I have had wierd dreams in the past but this one tops it....
I go to a old house to meet my mom, built civil war era, but the family had kept it emaculant. all wood was refinished and had a orange color to it. dim hazy atmosphere. I didnt know why I was meeting my mom there but more family memebers there. Some I knew and other i have never seen b4. I was very confused as to why we were there. Everyone asked me if I remembered.
I kept asking remembered what then my mom told this lady I had never seen b4 to help me remember. This lady took my hands and asked me to breath a certain way and I started crying, she asked me to open my eyes and told me to look around to tell her what I saw. i looked at my hands and saw they were getting smaller and i started to look around.. I was in the same house but somethings were different and i saw a old school desk...rod iron with wood desk top.....it had an old fashioned vanity mirror....big mirrror in the middle and 2 smaller ones on the sid that fold over the bigger one and latch...i saw a blonde little girl on the mirror and realized it was me as another child..( I have never had blonde hair naturally) there wa an older girl brushing and braiding a section of my hair and someone laid their hand on her shoulder whispered something in her ear and she left quiclkly.... I dont know what was told to her but the little blonde girl in the mirror started to cry.. then i was me again but my face felt like it was on fire and this strange woman asking me what i saw i told her but through tearsI was more confused then ever and my mom told her that was enough for that day....

It has stuck with me all day and i woke up for real crying... I don't understand it only to say it felt like i was really that little blonde girl

I know this goes against the methods most people here use to depict dreams but do you have any surpressed memories or bad feelings from when you were a child maybe involving your family.Im just guessing but it sounds like your trying to make yourself remember something.

This dream is one of those that take you back to an age you waguely remember. The text of the dream clearly shows that you are trying to remember an episode in your life when you were loved and pampered. How different it is nowadays! You long for a long lost happy childhood.
The dream left you with the emotion of emptiness.
These dreams are dreamt to divert you from the cares and worries of everyday life today. However the nostalgic feeling is needed to occupy your mind for some time after waking.

I agree wth Snipes. This is definitely a dream about you missing being loved and pampered. Maybe you should go and do something nice for yourself to make you feel more centered. Get a massage, buy an outfit, go do something with someone you enjoy...anything to make you feel loved and good about life!
