Post Marriage proposal!

Me and my boyfriend (who's my boyfriend of a little over 2 years in real life) were on my front porch (it's a wraparound porch) and we walked over to the porch swing we have set up (colour is pink). He told me sit down on it for a minute so I did, and he was leaning against the railling of the porch facing me saying,"I told you that if we waited long enough I'd do it" but for some reason I didn't know what he was talking about; then he took my left hand and got down on one knee and took out this beautiful ring! It was a white gold band with alternating blue sapphires and diamonds, and he said my full name and placed it on my finger and said,"Will you marry me?" I got really excited and jumped up and hugged him and say,"yes! yes!" One part of the dream I really remember was the ring was a little bit too big.
In real life we have talked about if/when we would take that next step but knew it still wouldn't be for a while.
What do you think this dream means? What is the significance of the ring being too big?

Hi,
Giving a ring means giving a proposal.

If dreamt the president gave him a ring means he will be a governor or the president will hurt him or his family.
If dreamt the built of his ring wasn't good means he will lose part of his property or the governor will get angry of him.
If his ring was made of silver means his money is legal and moral.

Well dreams for me link to our emotions. Try to sum them up in quotes. Here you are proposed to but things are not squite right. Maybe that links to the following conceptual emotions

"I want to make a serious commitment to my bf. But Its probably not the right time just yet"

------------------------
Many dreams seem magical and totally divorced from reality. Yet remember that dreams are about your mind. They symbolise how you see the real life challenges in your life. Dreams contain bizarre images such as mad dogs, vampires and dragons. Yet in reality we see our own struggles in rich and fantastical ways. So when you pick up a sword try to see that as an expression of your own assertiveness. Then compare that to the real life struggles in life where you have shown that self same wish to take on the demons and dragons in your own life. See how the dream represents your own fantasies and paranoia's. What thoughts were keeping you awake before the dream? What challenges were you thinking about concerning the day to come? Just try to interpret a dream in simple terms. A huge long dream may simple be reduced to one simple quote such as "In the dream I saw a monster and fought with it". Then compare this to real life. Simply ask what the monster is and how does the battle represent your own thoughts and motivations.
