I died

I dreamt that I was face down and trapped under water and a car was on the left arm or shoulder. I needed air , my lung were bursting I could not stop myself from inhaling water and held my breath a few seconds more but could not continue and inhaled again and more water flooded my lungs. I knew with the next breath I would die and with that knowledge I was at peace and too that last breath and I died. The next day I saw on the new where the Mississippi River bridge collapsed killing 7 people. I knew then that had felt the death of one of those people. Why did this happen to me when there was nothing I could do to save them. I have never before had such a dream and I pray to my Savior that I never will again. Can anyone tell me why I had such a dream?

Perhapsyou suffer from a touch of sleep anoea? It is a condition where in you stop breathing for a few seconds and then start again. It is also associated with snorring. The dream probably happens in the few seconds you stop breathing and is designed to calm you down and take abreath.
As far as predicting the disaster is concerned, it is a possibility, however there are always stories of cars plunging into water and the dream is more likely to incorporate a past experience than predict a future one. It is human nature to associate dreams with the future after the future happened, and forget about all the past experiences that went before. Have your sleep problem checked out, there are remedies nowadays.
