At a party and feeling scared of a guest...

Hi,

I dreamt that I was at my cousin's birthday party. There was a male guest there who I'd never seen before. I had the impression that he was a religious person while he was talking to me. For some reason, I felt a little scared of him - his eyes looked friendly but something didn't feel right.

Then I was outside in the garden with my mother and the guy was there again, walking behind us. Again I felt scared and I held my mother's hand. I asked if we could go back inside the house because I felt uncomfortable going to a secluded area when he was around.

What could this dream mean? My family is Christian and it seems weird that I would feel scared of a religious person..

Maybe you subconsciously think that religion is a bit daunting? I know it may be hard to believe but even though you grew up amongst Christians, you may, very deep down, associate them with feelings of fear and maybe imprisonment? I'm no expert though so don't take my word for it.

Maybe this person was not religious at all? Think about it...Satan comes in many shapes, sizs and colors. Satan also tries to fool us by pretending to be someone he is not. You're a Christian and religious person...so remember, it was a dream but also remember that just because someone walks the walk, talks the talk and has friendly eyes, does not make them a Christian. Satan lurks everywhere and will disguise himself.

Thanks for the response! Hm I don't think religion is daunting (at least not consciously) ...so that's a really interesting point you brought up...maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something

Thanks for the reply....maybe you're right....I think I need to try and remember what happened just before this dream ... nothing really stands out as that unusual but maybe its a feeling that my subconscious is getting about someone I should know ..... thanks for the advice
