crickets, injured snake

i was outside, and there were leaves on the ground, they were yellow-brown. there were crickets all over jumping and spiders, big ones. walking all over. i felt a pain in my foot, and i realised a snake bit me. so i got a few people to look for it, to catch it. i found it, it was little, and his half back side, was like stepped on by a car, it was flat.his head was up and the back was laying flat.
